I have been using the squalene cleanser, niacinimide + zinc serum, and natural moisturizing factors w/beta glucan for the last 6ish months. This routine has been working fine for me and has balanced my skin tone, but hasnt helped my breakouts entirely. I still break out at least 1x a month on it so ...

Years of acne close to GONE!
when i say i was tired of my acne, i mean it. i have genetic acne meaning that there was less things products could do for my acne. after YEARS and basically my whole life of trial and error, i finally found something that worked for me. my skin has cleared up so much! i was ready to give up and start taking pills for my acne because at that point it wasn't even aesthetics that concerned me, it was the pain. luckily, even during my worst skin phases through the month, my skin is close to cleared! now what works for me, may not work for you, but PLEASE give it a try. i was hesitant but i found something manageable for me. i've been washing my face every morning with just water and at night i do the kit for over 2 weeks now. reminder that consistency is key and it's almost impossible to get perfectly clear skin. my skin isn't fully clear, but im no longer in the pain i sat through majority of my life.
Gentle & Effective
I'm in my mid 40's and was having issues with acne with monthly breakouts for my entire life since I was a teenager. Nothing that I've tried over the years cleared my skin like this system has. I use it consistently every evening and it's transformed my skin dramatically. I have zero breakouts and my skin has never looked better.
Great product
I gave this to my daughter as a gift and she love it. Make her skin look sooo pretty. She has been using it since March of 2026. It is now August 2026 this by far her favorite.
I love this product
I absolutely love this product! Someone gave it to me as a gift and I have bought it multiple times now. I have had a major breakout these last few months and this is fhe only thing that has been working for me. I've been using it for 1.5 months now and the results are amazing! The breakouts have stopped and my face is clearing up so well. The cleanser has a light foam which I like but doesnt dry out your skin, salicylic acid drops definitely do their job of cleaning out pores, and the moisturizer is a water-based gel which is perfect for me because I have oily skin. This brand is definitely helping ma gain my confidence back!!!!

I have only been using this product just over a week but I can already see a difference. I will continue to use this product and look forward to see continued improvement in my acne!

Though we have no reason to think that The Ordinary's products would be harmful for young people, less mature/younger skin is often more sensitive and frequently changing. Can this be used with AHA 30% + BHA 2% High-Strength Peeling Solution, Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Serum, and Trust Me On This Hypochlorous Acid Spray as a routine? If so is there a needed application order on what gets applied first and last? I suffer with alot of black heads. I have blemishes/scarring, and somewhat oily skin in my forehead but because i sweat a lot from outdoor sports too.

Therefore we'd recommend using the Salicylic Acid 2% Solution from The Acne set on separate evenings than AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution. Both Acids can be used in the same regimen as Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% (Apply the AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution first, rinse off, and then proceed with Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%). Regarding the hypochlorous acid spray, sadly we're unable to comment on the pairing of The Ordinary's range with those of other brands.
