Use every morning and evening. Apply a dime-size amount to damp skin and gently massage, avoiding the eye area. Rinse well. Use wash on entire affected area one to two times daily. Because excess drying of the skin may occur, start with one application daily, then gradually increase two times daily if needed or as directed by a doctor. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day. If going outside, apply sunscreen after using this product. If irritation or sensitivity develops. stop use of both products and ask a doctor.

Not Satisfied
I am greatly disappointed with this product. I love Cera Ve products but this product has made my skin irritated and has severely stained my cloths and my towel. I normally did not have this problem with the 4% version of this product. I am disappointed that I wasted money and now I have to waste mo...

Great for Sensitive Skin and Beginners
This is my first time using retinol and I've been using it for about 2 months now. For context, I have combination to dry, sensitive skin and I'm in my early 20s. Aging isn't my main concern yet, but I want to start introducing products like this into my routine for the future. I do have some fine lines (from school and working in customer service) and occasional breakouts, but my main concerns are sun damage and hyperpigmentation. I'm very pale and burn easily, and because I didn't use sunscreen consistently as a teen, some sun damage is already visible. I was hesitant to start retinol because I worried about purging and peeling, and I did experience a slight increase in breakouts, but nothing extreme. I began using it twice a week at night with the "retinol sandwich" method, applying a lightweight moisturizer or hydrating toner first to prevent dryness, then a pea-sized amount of retinol, followed by another layer of moisturizer. It takes a little practice to spread such a small amount evenly across the face, but I've managed to make it work (Please stick to the recommended amount. Using more is the fastest way to damage your skin barrier). After about two weeks, I tried applying it on bare skin, which my skin tolerated, and then I resumed the sandwich method while increasing use to three times a week, hoping to eventually build up to daily use. I also tried it a few times on my neck following the same method, and it seems to tolerate it well. The serum has a slightly yellowish color, absorbs quickly, and feels weightless on my skin, making it easy to layer with other products. So far, I've noticed slight improvements in the appearance of my pores and uneven skin tone. I'm curious to see if I can get more benefits from it since the concentration is pretty low, or if I'll need to move to a stronger retinol once my skin fully adjusts. Overall, it's been a gentle and effective introduction to retinol for my sensitive skin.
This cleared my skin within a week
I broke out reallyyyyy bad which i never do and my doctor gave me this product and my skin never looked better🥹🥹
Healed my cystic acne!!!
For over a year I have suffered from terrible cystic acne. After using this product for a month I have virtually no more break outs. I am so happy that I found this product

Effective spot treatment
I didn't really use this product as a cleanser more so a spot treatment for body acne and I would say it did help dry up acne faster than just letting it go away on its own. I left on for about 15 minutes and my new acne would completely dry up in about 3 days. it can be drying in my opinion so that's why I wouldn't personally use it as a cleanser.
Love it!
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Great product! It does everything it needs to do plus more. It is so gentle on the skin and helps with all my acne problems. If you have sensitive skin please be careful!
