The iron's long and slim design makes it easy to maneuver around the ears without worrying about accidental burns. Its long plates heat up evenly and allow you to straighten large sections of hair at once which saves a significant amount of time. Even stubborn sections only require two passes to get them perfectly straight. The straightening iron glides effortlessly through the hair without snagging or pulling. While I didn't notice a difference when using the vibration feature, the gentle buzzing lets my tween know that straightening is in progress and gets her to sit perfectly still which is always a win. Although we won't use the curved sides to create waves or curls in our naturally curly hair, we do enjoy using them to add subtle movement to our ends.
