Most Helpful Positive Review Truly long wearing eye color
I really love these Magnetic Eyecolor pencils! They apply and blend easily and after setting, they do not budge at all. I live in the South in a very humid climate, and this is one of the first shadows I've found that truly lasts.
I'm glad I didn't read reviews prior to purchasing this product because I've seen numerous negative ones and that would have discouraged me from buying an item I really like.
These are Nudestix, so as the name implies, the color range is limited to earth tones, although I'd love to see some more colorful options. Also, some of the colors look really similar once applied. I purchased Copper Foil and Rustique, which look nearly identical on my lid. If purchasing multiple, pencils, I'd focus on one lighter option and one darker, or a matte and a luminous.
Most Helpful Critical Review Creased mess
Creases terribly after just 4 hours, basically gone after that. Trying to buff the product with my finger to even out the creases just removes it. I used it alone on my eyes and also over a mattifying face primer (Soap and Glory One Heck of a Blot) which I frequently use under my eyebrow makeup. It might work over my normal combo of 2 eyeshadow primers (MAC Paint Pot and NYX HD Eyeshadow Primer) with a powder to set but at that point, it's lost all its benefit of being a easy-to-use, on the go, minimalist product.
I like the packaging a lot, the mirror inside is very nice! I've put all my at-work makeup in it and it's great to hold my eyebrow pencil, eyebrow gel, and lipstick.
I got the color 'Angel' and for being a 'light rose gold' it is mostly just champagne/gold. I wish it were cooler in tone, all of their shades are very warm!

This is a great brand. It's got just enough shimmer but not overkill. It can be applied for light color, then easily reapplied for more intense color. It stays all day with no smudging on my oily eyelids. The packaging is great - there's a sharpener as the cap, and the case it comes in has a mirror. The best part is the color Twilight is about as close as I've found to Clinique's Uplighting Touch Base that they discontinued years ago. I've been looking for a close replacement forever and this isn't exactly it, but very near. Highly recommend this eye shadow.

When I opened the pencil it was clear the product had made its way out of the pencil (sticking out a lot) and when I looked it the cap there was a lot of smooshed product.

I really love this. I bought Rustique which is a light coppery shade. I have oily eyelids that always crease. I put no primer on my eyes and just used these and finally after a long day there was the tiniest crease when I looked really closely. I think that's pretty good.
Glides on smooth and stays put
Buster from VA
I love eye crayons so that I don't have fallout that brush on eye shadow has, or putting my finger in a pot. This color was great, and went on smooth. The packaging is a bit weird as you can fully remove the lid, where I'd prefer a hinge so I don't have to worry about popping off the top and dropping it. For the sale price I bought this at it was a great chance to try something new that paid off.
Be light handed
Bunny from Georgia
I bought four of these during 21 days. I had wanted another popular and new brand, but thought I would try these. I got light colors in three of them and one darker shade. Use a light hand. Apply one light swipe. Immediately blend. If you apply more, it will look very caky and old lady cakes on appearing. I tried using a brush to blend, not helpful at all. Use a finger immediately after applying. The colors are nice. I don't think I will repurchase, but I will use them up
I would buy this eyeliner again and again

Glides smoothly on your eyelids and gives you a wake up look that is natural (not startled). Love the different shades. Love the metal container that it came in with a perfectly sized sharpener and the fact that the container has a mirror on the inside of the lid!

As soon as I applied this product my eyelids starting burning. It was very drying and color didn't last long.
Tried two other colors and all had the same issue. Very disappointed
Love this eyeshadow!

This product is so easy to use. It glides on and stays on -- no creases or fading. It has a nice subtle sheen to it and is now my go-to shadow. The only thing I don't like about it is that you have to sharpen it with sharpener. I've had others similar to this and all you had to do was turn it up. Just makes things easier!
Hard to blend
Lauren from Maryland
These are very easy to use and can be applied quickly. The color is perfect for a natural makeup look. The only downside is that they are difficult to blend once you apply them. I tried to use one color on my lid and a lighter color on my brow, but they didn't really blend together.
Pleasantly surprised at the formula's performance
Heather from Denver, CO
I've been an UD Naked palette user for many years and tend to avoid cream shadows because they smear, crease, and generally are difficult to work with. I picked up Twilight and Lilith on sale and was incredibly impressed by the usability. I was looking for an everyday makeup look that would be quick to apply as I'm running out the door and these fit the bill nicely. I use Lilith on the inner corner of the eye and under the brow and sweep Twilight across the lid before blending with my ring finger. It takes me about 10 seconds to apply. They stay put and look great for a quick and simple look. (I usually use mascara, BB cream, and tinted balm to finish the look.)
I also love the idea of traveling with these. They're lightweight and so easy to use- no brushes needed. They last about 14 hours for me before coming off clean with a makeup remover cloth.
The packaging is absolutely excessive, however. The metal mirrored tin is cute, but it takes up so much space and I wouldn't bring it through TSA. (And you get one with every purchase.) Unfortunately, the're probably going to head straight to the trash as they're just not that useful. Each pencil also comes with it's own sharpener. So now I have 4 sharpeners sitting in a drawer when one is all I need. I'd love to see the extra packaging removed and the price of the product lowered. At full price, these are spendy and I don't think I personally would invest that much when I can get a full UD palette (including brush) for the cost of two Nudestix.

Got from ulta 21day sales. Cute stuff.
Um, no, just no!
LoveToSparkle from New England
I gave one star for the lovely color (copper foil) and one for the sharpener that came with the product. It is over-priced because it comes with it's own case and mirror, neither of which are necessary, because the stuff DOES NOT MOVE once you put it on. You cannot take some off, spread it out or blend it in. It is going back!

Nice pencil but the color is much warmer Than it appears online—is more of a red wine to copper shade and not a cool purple taupe. It's still nice though.
Love the formula but they always come damaged?
Alaina from Midwest
I love the formula of these so much, but I just ordered 2 of these and they both came damaged (the core just fell out of the pencil when I opened it). Ulta sent me new ones when I contacted them and one of the two new ones did the same thing! I just have to shove the product back in the pencil but it is very loose and not ideal. Nudestix needs to figure this issue out because this has happened to me with their bronzer and blush sticks too. The product will just fall out of the tube.
Victoria from Minneapolis
The entire core of the pencil fell out when I took off the seal and opened the cap. The tip was mooshed into the cap. I've never had this issue with Nudestix before.
These have been my favorite until now
Dee from Florida
I think I got 2 tainted sticks. I have been using these fore the last year, and they have been my favorite eye product. The 2 that I ordered in April I feel we're made wrong. It's almost like the manufacturer put peppermint oil in them or something. While I am applying to my outer eye it burns and waters so badly!!! Both of my new sticks do this. I have tried wiping off the outer layer but it doesn't help- it's like the peppermint is infused. I don't get it! When they aren't jacked up these are the best thing ever!!!

This product is great to use with powder shadows. Illuminates light colors on lids.
Smooth texture, easy to apply and lasts all day...
One Busy Mom from Morganton, NC
After hand surgery several months ago, applying eye shadow with a traditional applicator is still very difficult for me. I just couldn't get the definition I wanted on my eye lids. I thought I'd try an eye shadow in a pencil form so I wouldn't have to manage swiping and applying from a powdered compact. Boy does this product work well! It goes on smooth and creamy, yet it's "stay put" power is amazing. I go all day without having to reapply. The application is a cinch with the accuracy I could only manage with a pencil. I love love love this product!
Love this creme shadow

Love their consistency. Hold up really great all day. Good play time to apply. Just purchased color Spirit and am very happy.
These colors stay put!
GQ from Detroit
Use 2 of these pencils to blend colors together on my eyelid and I really like them for thinner areas but not for expansive eyelid coloring (I have excessive eyelid real estate). I like the sharpness of a pencil to get in the creases and corners (great control), but hate having to sharpen since so much of the color is wasted trying to get the pencil to the same sharpness as when it was new.

If anyone is buying thing its olive to go with green colors it's not, its just GOLD
My favorite eyeshadows
Autum9 from NYC
I love these eyeshadow sticks. I was sad when Ulta stopped carrying Julep and was looking for a replacement. When they started selling Nudestix I decided to give them a try. My eyelids are oily and these lasts longer than the Julep and they don't irritate my eyes either so that's a win! I think they're a bit pricey and I'm not sure how long they'll last but I try to buy them when they're on sale or in a pack. I wish they had more colors.
