So I wouldn't say i have terrible acne but its defiantly there. Or i should say was there. My acne has improved dramatically after using this stuff. I had the most stubborn pimple on my right cheek. Seriously nothing would help. Ive tried to many different kinds of face wash. Clean n clear, mario badescu, burt's bees, Neutrogena, ext. Some worked better then others but clique is the best hands down. Im writing this so hopefully someone will read this that was like me desperate to get clear skin. Everyones skin is different so i can't promise it will work for you but it worked for me and I'm so happy writing this and finally maybe being a success story. I have nomination skin. I breakout mostly on my forehead, right cheek, and recently my left lower cheek and chin but thats area is pretty much clear. From that annoying stubborn right cheek i told you about earlier were it just would not clear up, my cheek is now flat with no pimples. Acne scars are visible but are slowly fading away. If i don't use this stuff i will break out the next day. But this has seriously saved my skin. I will say this is not some miracle face wash that will clear your skin over night, over the weekend or even in a week or two. You seriously have to be patient. If your skin isn't clear or hasn't improved by the time the bottle runs out then maybe try something else but personally i bought a second bottle. Ive been using this for about 2 months i would say and i am not chaining my face wash, completely recommend and i hope this helps someone.
I liked this product for the first several months I used it (along with the rest of the 3 step system). It never caused me to break out, and in fact helped me to avoid breakouts. However, it came at a cost. My skin is so completely dehydrated now, it is flaky and itchy all the time. The first ingredient after water is sodium laureth sulfate. This is not a "mild" cleanser, no matter what the bottle says. I have combo/oily skin and live in a humid climate, yet this is still too harsh.

It's great for the "T" zone.

I honestly don't have that much acne. Although, I've noticed that this face wash works perfectly with my dry skin//eczema. I also notice that it helps lessen the multiple shades//tones of my face so I can have a more even look:)

I have been tempted by other brands and always wondered why and came back to clinique

This products is way to harsh on the skin. It was way to stripping and dried out my face to the point where I started overproducing oil. I also looked at the ingredients and there is a high concentration of sodium laureth sulfate which is a cheap and harsh ingredient. I would never ever recommend this product to anyone. There are just so many better face wash options than this, especially for its price point.

I have used this facial soap for years and love it! Easy to use in shower.

I normally use Neutrogena's Acne Face Wash and it works perfectly fine I just wanted to "up" my skincare routine so I decided to go with Clinique because of all the great reviews and it was a nice looking bottle plus it was a little more pricey than what I normally get so I thought this was going to work. This made my skin break out so bad I have never had such a bad breakout in my life. My skin is naturally clear and I only get a couple breakouts and its normally when its the time of the month. So when I started breaking out I knew it was from using this product. I hopped on Neutrogena on my 3rd week of using this 2 times a day because the breakouts are only getting worse. I have never had to "adjust" for a new face soap this one is just bad its not mild at all its so drying on your face it feels like your face has a dry film over it after washing its just horrible do not get this product just stick with your mediocre skin care routine I swear its okay!

I used to use the acne wash and recently got this and I am in love with it! Leaves my skin feeling nice and clean and I am not having many breakouts. I am in healthcare so I wear a mask 8+ hours a day. I wash 2x a day and use a combo of the oily skin toner and the acne toner. I also use the acne gel and that helps keep the pimples away. Basically I flip and flop clinique products to fit to my skin needs at the moment. Also side note they do 5x points from time to time. That's when I stock up products and points!

I love this facial cleanser. It cleans without drying your skin. The price is perfect also.

seriously one of my favorite facial cleansers. it's so gentle but will take off all the makeup from my face. i tested it on a few makeup brushes and it got the makeup off of them too. my face doesnt feel tingly afterwards. I have dry sensitive skin.

The first Clinique facial liquid soap I bought was extra-mild and worked extremely well for my skin. For some reason I looked over the next Clinique liquid soap and bought this one, Mild. Noticed a difference right away; inflammation, extreme dryness, flakey skin, redness, and irritation. I read another review that had the same experiences as I am having and they mentioned that this specific product ,Clinique facial liquid soap Mild, contains Sodium sulfate which obviously dries the skin. Definitely will be looking real close to what I buy next time to save me the trouble. I guess it works well for different skin types but certainly didn't go well with mine.

This is my go to face wash and makeup remover. It's effective yet gentle and does not dry out my skin. It leaves a fresh clean feel. I've been using it for years.
Clinique from Fresno
I love this face wash. It has helped clear up my face a lot. I use the mild one because I'm dry combination. They did raise the price of it within the last year but it is still inexpensive! I get the bigger one with the pump and lasts me about three months

I've been using the product for almost a year and it stops most breakouts but the larger pimples on my face are still yet to go away.

I started using this months ago and I loved it at first. I've started to notice though, the past month as soon as I wash my face, I'm talking rinsing then patting the water off with a towel and looking in the mirror...BAM. My skin looks oily immediately and is extremely oily throughout the day. This cleanser has become so drying on my face that my skin is producing extra oil now. Definitely not for my more oily/dry combo skin. Maybe someone could benefit from using this if their skin is more on the non problematic side?

I love and swear by this stuff! It's mild enough to not cause irritation, and I have slightly sensitive skin. I don't wear make-up, so I cannot attest to how it cleans foundation off, but my skin loves it.

I am 29 and have seen a dermatologist since my early twenties. I am no skincare guru but I have struggled with acne since puberty. For the last 3-4 years my acne has been very minimal and manageable with regular use of prescription products and over the counter products like lotion and mild face washes. I decided to try this one out and it was not a good idea. After the first week it dried out my face to the point of peeling like a sunburn (I kept using thinking it meant it was working and the hump would be over. After four weeks of using it, I feel like a teenager again, my face is broken out all over and in areas I never struggled with like my forehead or side burn/jaw line area. I have breakouts everywhere on my face and its started to irritate along my hairline too causing irritation bumps that itch. This might work for some but it did not work for me at all. Unfortunately, I wasn't looking for it to clear acne because that had been gone, I was looking to maintain my skin and to add more of an "adult" type regiments of maintaining and rejuvenating and this just didn't work.

I use this nightly with my facial brush and leaves my face feeling so clean and fresh. I wouldn't change it!

I consider Clinique to be a good brand and I own a few of their products like the "Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel" which I love for my oily skin. However, their liquid facial soap-mild was a disaster for me. I have struggled with perioral dermatitis ever since I used it a few months back. For those who don't know what that is, it's basically red, itchy bumps on the area near my mouth which I have not been able to get rid of. I regret having used this product and therefore, would not recommend.

I use this after I wash my face. Anything cut I have I use it on that also
