Directions For Best Results:
- Cleanse skin thoroughly. (Excess oil or other product residue may lessen the tightening effect.)
- Try exfoliating as product may cling to flaky skin and cause white residue.
- Pat skin dry. Do not use eye cream or moisturizer, as this will reduce the tightening effect.
- Shake tube. To control application, squeeze a pea-size amount on the back of your hand first. Using your fingertip or dry makeup brush, take product from back of hand as needed, starting with a tiny amount (less is more, to avoid white residue). Spread onto the eye and brow area.
- If more product is needed, apply quickly while first layer is still wet. Layering onto dry product may result in white residue.
- Stay expressionless for 3 to 7 minutes so product can properly set and dry. If needed, once dry, pat away any residue with a damp cotton swab.
Tip: Apply concealer and other makeup as needed. Oil-based and/or powder formulas are ideal, as water-based makeup may weaken the tightening effect. "

Magic in a Tube, With Only One Flaw
This stuff is pure magic. It works, and it lasts all day. The only downfall: I have to choose between it and concealer. It worked.... But .....
I was so excited to get this product. However, the magic undoes itself if you add anything on top of it. Moisturizer, eye cream, foundation, concealer, it brings the puffiness all back. I gave it 3 stars because it DOES work... But ... I wear makeup so its its not for a girl who loves her coverup. B...

Life saver!
I was in the middle of the run of a show I was doing and woke up with a tiny pimple right under my eye which caused the whole area under my eye to swell. I spent hours trying to bring down the swelling before showtime but to no avail. I stopped at me local Ulta on the way to the theatre and picked up a small tube of the PTR Eye Tightener. Wow! It worked! I do have to note that when I first applied my usual silicone based foundation over the treated area, it did not look good. So I removed it, retreated the area, and while I used my normal foundation on the rest of my face, I used a powder foundation (Laura Geller) on the treated area. Got me through the show!
Don't Waste Your Money!
After precisely following the directions for the application of this product, it did tighten the area around my eyes and made me look younger. However, once I tried to apply any kind of product like a concealer or foundation, the tightening effects immediately reversed. I tried different brands of concealer and foundation, nothing worked well with this product. Here is the tip the product gives you regarding applying other products over this product: Tip: Apply concealer and other makeup as needed. Oil-based and/or powder formulas are ideal, as water-based makeup may weaken the tightening effect. " Regrettably, I waited too long to try this product after I bought it, so I couldn't return it for a refund from Ulta. I feel I totally wasted my money, and it's a rather expensive product. My best advice to you would be to try the product in the store, then apply concealer or foundation over it, and see what you get. I hope it could work for you, it didn't work for me after multiple tries on my part. I felt the product description is very misleading. I hope the company can reformulate this product so that it works well under other products.
Only need a tiny amount
This works great for me. You only need a tiny (what would fit on the tip of a straight pin) amount. If you get white flakes you are using too much. It can be irritating for some people. My sister tried mine and didn't like it. I love how it leaves my skin flat under my eyes. I realize it is not for everyone but I love it as I was sick of people telling me how tired I looked because of the sagging skin under my eyes which this product tightens right up.

Work nicely for temporary fix. Follow directions as to Not get a white residue. A little is enough
Very nice product and effect.
This is the first product of this type that actually works. I can clearly see the effect and it's fun that it is so effective. I had to try a few times to find the right amount that I needed for the firming and line-filling effect below my eyes. I did not get the crumbling residue that I read about in some reviews, so maybe those users used a bit too much. It lasted the approximate eight hours that I was expecting. I'll use this for occasions and events, but I don't plan to use it daily. I am very happy with my purchase.

If you require extra moisture and must use an eye cream, wait until the eye cream is fully absorbed and skin is completely dry before applying Instant FIRMx® Eye. If applying makeup after Instant FIRMx® Eye, powder formulas are best, to avoid disrupting the product effects.
