Most Helpful Positive Review Makeup life changer So, I have a friend that uses this stuff and recommended it. However, the price was a little high for me. I was in Ulta standing in front of the Peeling Gel Trying to decide if I wanted to spend my hard earned money on this and an employee walked by and took one look at me and said that it wasn't for me because I had oily/combo skin and that it was just the product that peeled up and that I wouldn't like it. It seemed to me that she was more knowledgable than I was and I didn't want to spend money on something that the employee said wouldn't work. But still I felt slightly upset that she had dismissed me so quickly and I had read many good reviews. Fast forward about three months, I realize that I have many points and they would cover the hefty price. A separate employee let me try it out in the store and I felt enough difference on my hand that I thought it was worth it to use my points. What was the harm? I got home and rubbed it on my face. I was a little sad at first I didn't really notice a difference I thought that it had no real change to my face and the original employee had been correct in her assessment. I put the stuff in my cabinet and didn't think about it for maybe a month. Then one day my face was DRY. I mean just peeling rough patches everywhere. So I pulled it out and rubbed it on my face. After I washed it off literally ALL of my extra dry skin was gone. My face had never been so smooth and soft in my life. I then applied makeup and it went on like a dream. It was the best makeup day I had had in ten years. The more I use the product the more I realize that it has to be used in a specific way to achieve optimum results. First wash and dry your face fully. I mean wash it twice with soap. It has to be clean. If there is any of your face's natural oils, it won't do anything but ball up the oil. Then make sure you leave it on for a few minutes before you wash it off. If your face is not as soft as a new born baby's butt do it again. This is the best!
Most Helpful Critical Review Don't be duped. This product is nothing more than cellulose which is wood fiber. Yes, you put it on and it "rolls off the dead skin". Soooo, if you do that to your skin a few more times, then your skin shouldn't have more dead skin to roll off right? Wrong. It's just a texture thing...it "rolls" cause it's just fibers and it has silicone to make your skin "feel'' smoother. It's a joke. Buy a real mask.

Look at this real short sweet and straight to the point I received a sample of this for my birthday, after I finish the sample I have to purchase it. It's great for exfoliation every other day which I personally do it doesn't have a strong sense only thing I wish was different was the price point but it's worth it.

This product is wonderful. I normally use it when I notice my skin to be getting dry or flaky. I follow up with a rich moisturizer. All of my dead skin is gone after I use this product and I am left with soft smooth skin. I purchased this product after seeing one of my favorite youtubers rave about it! It's a favorite of mine now! I've gotten my mom to try it and she loves it too! I got it when it was half off and learned I will definitely still purchase it at full price.

I've tried lots of new skincare products during shelter-in-place and this is by far my favorite! You can see the difference after the first use, particularly if your skin is in need of a some extra exfoliation. In fact, this product is more effective at removing the dry skin on my legs than exfoliating sugar / salt / coffee based scrubs! I only wish it came in a larger size!

I look forward to using this. My skin is sensitive and picky lol. It freaks out if I use anything that's too harsh. I know you're only supposed to use this stuff 3 times a week but I use it daily at night (because that's what works for me) and my skin has NEVER looked better. I have combination skin with acne rosacea and melasma. I feel it's contributing to fading PIH from a lifetime of breaking out, as well as this "glow" that I suddenly see. I will never be without this product.

Even if the "skin" peeling off isn't your skin, it still exfoliates your skin really well. I use it maybe once a week, or when I feel like I have some dead skin on the surface. Afterwards, my skin feel fresh and smooth. It can be drying so I would recommend using a good moisturizer afterwards. It is pretty expensive but I don't mind paying for a product that I know works for my skin. Also, this is not meant for cleansing your face of makeup. Cleanse your face normally first, then let it dry, then use this product. This is an additional step, not an all-in-one cleanser.

I LOVE this stuff! I use it 3x a week. It's not over drying even though having so much AHA power it could have the potential to be. A little goes a long way. My skin feels smoother than cashmere. Must have!

I am an avid PTR user and I wholeheartedly wanted to love this product. It does not work and only leaves my skin smooth but there is not a noticeable difference. The product you feel "rolling off" is just the mask itself, not actual dead skin.

I love this exfoliant. I have tried so many kinds of exfoliants and this one has worked the best for me. It says to use 1-3 times a week, but my dead skin really piles up on my face, so I use it 3-4 times. Really take the time to roll upwards on your neck and jawline. It really helps with tiny clogged bumps and keeping those from turning into the big, painful pimples.

I've always had issues with large pores and a slightly dull texture on my face. When I used this as a sample, I was shocked at my skin because it looked like baby's skin. I looked 19. I knew I was buying it then and I didn't care what the cost was. This is a miracle. I have never used anything of such high quality. PTR always impresses.

Received this in my Play box and I love this product! It is so easy to use, I add about a half-dollar size amount and rub with both hands over my face. As the product works it balls up into tiny clumps (may want to do this over your sink to avoid a mess). My skin is sensitive, and usually exfoliators make my face red/burn, but this one is so gentle yet works so effectively! Skin feels baby smooth after.

Don't listen to those that claim this is just cellulose fibers. My skin has never looked better! It even sloughs off the dead skin cells that give my upper arms little bumps prompting an immediate and obvious change. This is 100% the best exfoliator I've ever used!

People who say its plant fibers or that its the chemical just balling might not be using the product correctly or don't understand chemistry.
I have super oily skin , my pores clog up so easily, you could see how bumpy and oily it was . i couldn't even see my pores. Ive used pixie, ordinary and first aid exfoliates and they all helped but this product let me not only see my pores but it really brought clarity to my skin after a week! I've use body shops orange one thats half the price and liked it but this worked after just a couple times. I've never seen it this clear and i can see my pores instead of the red bumpy skin build up!!!
Its so hard to keep the build up away im so pimple prone but this product has changed that with just using it twice a week.

I absolutely love the results on my oily combination, sensitive, acne prone almost 40 skin! I use after long hot shower as steam opens pores...dry skin then use and leave for 5 min and walla....baby skin....and to get the spa experience you can then use after any P. ROTH masks: rose, cucumber, 24k or moor mud.(I recommend the bundle great price)...new layer of skin will soak up nutrients right up....you will thank me later!!! I would dare to say I got way better results than with high end acid peel that cost 3x the price.

I ended up buying a full sized product after I finished using up the sample bottle! it leaves my skin so smooth, I use it all twice a week! I have combination skin and it works so well for me! I'm barely making a dent in the bottle, it doesn't take a lot of product. definitely gonna order again when/if I run out!
