How To Use

After shampooing, thoroughly towel-dry hair to remove excess water.* Brush out hair using a detangling brush or comb, and separate into large sections. Place the Double Shot underneath each section and work it slowly from roots to ends, until the section is dry and smooth. For volume at the roots, use horizontally at the crown. The Double Shot can also be used on dry hair to create a smooth, finished look.

*For extra-thick or long hair, it may be necessary to rough-dry hair with a regular blow-dryer before using The Double Shot.

Double shot

For someone like me who has had super thick hair her entire life, finding a dryer that cuts dry time and styles just the way I want it seemed almost impossible. I've tried MULTIPLE dryer brushes (one actually caught fire because it just couldn't handle this thick mane of mine) and non of them lasted...

Piece of junk

I've had it for 9 months and it's…not good. I feel like the cheap Revlon brush is better and I am definitely going to move up to the Dyson air wrap. This gets so hot it burns the yellow tips (making them brown) before each individual brush falls off completely (see pic). Super bummed.

This product works great the first time you use it: the mixed bristles glide across hair and create a good amount of tension so that natural waviness is straightened out. The problem is that the bristles (the larger pointed bristles and the boar hair bristles) bend out of shape after just a few uses, significantly diminishing its effectiveness at gripping and smoothing hair. Finally, the controls are unwieldy. They are located at the bottom of the handle, and require you to use both hands to turn the air on or cycle the heat settings. This means that if you are holding a section of hair with one hand, you need to have the dryer already powered on if you want to dry that section. This causes the dryer to blow hot air all over the place while you bring it up to the section you want to dry, which can make the entire drying process incredibly frustrating.

Don't waste your money on this. The first one burned after a few months, so I made the mistake of buying a second one thinking it was an off thing. Well, second one just died too.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Ive used this for over a year. Because of the two types of bristles, it rips hair from my head. Ive gad severe breakage and need to clean the hair (which comes out in clumps) every third time i use it. This styling brush Leaves my hair flat and lifeless and i have curly hair. Please spare your tresses and do not use this thing!

Avoid!

This is my first review specifically to warn anyone considering this item. it's horrible . I've tried it 3 times now, with different hair products and every time all it gives is blown dry straight hair without body or volume . I have fine hair so it always holds styles well, but this product is giving NOTHING . Im returning this. Avoid it.
