Comments about Clinique Clarifying Lotion 1.0:

I use the product day and night. I absolutely love the way it makes my skin feel. It isn't drying at all. I love that!! I have never used a product for sensitive skin that was gentle enough and wasn't 3/4 alcohol

Comments about Clinique Clarifying Lotion 1.0:

I purchased this toner after the Mild Clarifying Lotion was discontinued. I was skeptical to use a new product because I have always had great luck with the Mild. I am approaching 60 years old and my skin has now become very dry and sensitive. This toner does not irritate my skin or make my skin red. My skin feels great after using it every night. I do not use it in the morning. It has never made my skin flare up. I would gladly repurchase -- already have. I started out with the little bottle and just purchased the larger bottle.

      Perfect for Aging Skin

      By Karen W

Comments about Clinique Clarifying Lotion 1.0:

I have always had oily skin, but as I hear my 40s my skin has become very dry in most places. A friend recommended this one to me because it is alcohol free. I love this! I can use this twice daily and it does not dry my skin out, but still gives it that little something extra at the end of my cleansing routine. I also like using it as refreshed on non-makeup days. So glad I found this and look forward to using it for years to come.

I found this product on vacation. When I ran out of the number 2 toner. I absolutely love it. You can use it as nice wash . During the day just to get the dry dirt off you. And it does not dry your skin off. It also never leaves your skin oily. Even after you put on your makeup. Well worth the money. So glad I came across this product..

        My Last Resort, and SAVIOR!

        By Shi

        from Highland, IN

Comments about Clinique Clarifying Lotion 1.0:

I went into Ulta searching for a new primer to help moisturize my skin, since my T-Zone is so dried out and my foundation gets splotchy. I didn't want to ask for help, as I was embarrassed. A Clinique rep asked if I needed help and I told her what I was looking for. She made me feel comfortable and pointed me to this product. I'm always very doubtful but she tried it on me in the store and it felt amazing. It turns out, it wasn't my primer that was making my foundation look horrible or drying out my skin, it was just all the dead skin. My confidence was at an all time low, but using this product I feel so much better. It may sound cheesy, but I swear by it. I don't have to use a lot, even with how dried out my skin was. After 2 uses I started seeing results. Veryyyy cheap for the amount you get. I will be repurchasing when I eventually run out!

Hi! Thank you for your question. None of the Clinique Clarifying Lotions should cause acne. They all exfoliate the skin, which is a key component to prevent acne in the skin. Have a wonderful week!

Hi! I apologize for the trouble. Mild Clarifying Lotion has been discontinued. Clarifying Lotion 1.0 is an alcohol free clarifying lotion that offers mild and gentle exfoliation in a more modern formula. It is great for all skin types and I believe you will enjoy using it as a substitute. Again, I am sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. Thank you for your loyalty to Clinique!

Hi! Based on what our Dr's teach us, you should stay away from ingredients like Menthol and possibly Oil as well. You should also wear a sunscreen to protect your skin each day and prevent additional redness. This specific product has not been tested for the treatment of rosacea. If you are looking to treat redness or rosacea, I highly suggest using the Clinique Redness Solutions 3 step system. It is absolutely wonderful! Happy holiday's from Clinique!
