For those with acne or acne-prone skin, this cleanser was made to be used with the Clinique Sonic System Purifying Cleansing Brush, and it works perfectly with it! Wetting your face, wetting the brush head, and adding a drop of this cleanser onto the brush head will result in more than enough foam.

Good Product, Hate Consistency
Save your money and just buy the foaming cleanser version. This product is in no way a "gel", it has the consistency of water. It is so runny and I have to use a lot of product every time I have to wash my face because I can never keep enough product in my palms to lather before it falls out.

This is the best product for acne or blemishes. It clears things up very quickly! I will always purchase this product and highly recommend it!
It works… most of the time
This product works most of the time, but it dries out your skin SO badly. I naturally have very dry skin, so this product can be a nightmare when applied to certain areas of my face. But the pro? It DOES work, most of the time. Other times though, it literally does nothing. I'd say it would depend heavily on your skin type and acne type for this product to be successful for you.

I am a 40+ woman who has had acne issues my whole life. The acne cleansing bar soap kept me in check, until clinique discontinued it. I made the change to this "cleansing gel", and also tried the "foam". To say this product is a "gel" is misrepresentation. It is NOT a gel. It is a thin watery consistency that you can't keep in your hands to lather, and CAN'T use on your body. Its impossible. Most of my "pea sized product, ended up on the floor instead of my hands or face. And trying to get this on my chest for my other break out areas ? FORGET IT! The foam is just about the same. Either Bring back the bar soap or thicken this stuff into a real gel so it can be used on other problem areas. I have seen plenty of other complaints/reviews asking for the same- the clients are out there clinique!!!! FIX IT!!

I have oily and acne-prone skin, and this cleansing gel worked really well for me. It cleans my skin deeply, removes excess oil, and leaves my face feeling fresh and smooth without any heavy or greasy feeling.
LOVE THIS!
I have been using this product for about a week on my pretty severe acne and this has made a noticeable difference so far! The textire is a little watery bit it foams up well so it isn't really a problem in my book.
