Most Helpful Positive Review My absolute favorite palette
I love playing with color, and this palette has so much payout and huge pan sizes for the price. The color is super pigmented, the shades blend amazingly well, the shimmers, applied with a finger, stay sparkly and bright all day. I've used with and without priming, and while I prefer priming, they also look good without and do still last a long time. The purple stains my eye lids a bit, but honestly, I expect that from really pigmented pinks, purples, and red, so it wasn't upsetting. I always get compliments on my eye looks with this palette because the colors are so bold. There is a little fallout in the mattes, so tap your brush, but other than that, super easy to work with. I'm buying the other palettes from Juvia's place based on my experience with this one.
Most Helpful Critical Review A big disappointment,
I'm so disappointed with this. First, the picture doesn't really show the colors properly. That "red" is actually a magenta, and I bought this thinking I would be getting a true red eyeshadow. Not the biggest flaw, but maybe a different promo photo would be helpful.
If I had known that 7 out of the 9 shades in this were pressed pigments vs. eyeshadows I wouldn't have bought this. The 1 shimmer that is a pressed pigment (the green) is great. I can use that one easily. The two eyeshadows (the other shimmers) also work great and I like the colors a lot. Especially the duochrome pink.
But the mattes are so frustrating to work with and show up pretty dang patchy on my skin (I'm hella pale.) I've spent two weeks trying to get this to work for me but it's just not worth the struggle. I have some matte pressed pigments in the Riviera palette but they don't give me nearly as much trouble. I wish that I loved this palette because I've been interested in Juvia's Place for a while now. But perhaps this was the wrong palette to start with. If I can find someone to pass it off to, I will. If there is a full eyeshadow palette, NO pressed pigments from JP I will probably try that. The eyeshadows are good, the pressed pigments are the worst.

i guess Juvia's shadows just don't do it for me. super disappointed because i love all their other products. maybe their nude formula is better.

The colors are so nice

This is my first palette containing many pressed pigments and I like it. I do have to press my brush into the powders a bit to build up on the brush but it's okay because the color pay-off is great. I found these shadows to be easy to blend. There's a lot of kickback/fallout with the powder when you are grabbing them with a brush but that's expected from pressed pigments. Lots of kickback with with the shimmers so remember to tap your brush on a hard surface over a trashcan before putting the bristles to your face.
The colors are fun and I'd recommend this product to my friends.

I'm feeling pretty disappointed with both Juvia's Place and Ulta for their lack of transparency- only two of these colors are actually eye shadows, the other seven are all pressed pigments and are "not intended for use around the immediate eye area" (direct quote from packaging). I know plenty of people still use pressed pigments around the eyes without issue and they're just legally covering their bases with that warning, but it's frustrating to see no indication of it until you have the palette in hand. Frankly, it feels a bit shady (no pun intended).
I'm keeping it for now. The two that actually are approved for eye use (shimmer blue and shimmer pink) are really pretty, and I can play around with the others for some fantasy face looks that keep away from my eyes. But I was looking forward to trying more JP palettes, and now I don't want to for fear of not knowing what I'm getting.

I was afraid of the highly pigmented eye shadows but this palette is gorgeous and it made exploring very fun

This is a good colorful palette. It blends well. This is just my own opinion but it's not as pigmented as I like my shadows to be. That's not a bad thing for people who are not like me. You can build up the colors. Over all a good palette.
Will be returning

This is by far one of the worst palettes I've ever used, and I'm a pro MUA. I love Juvia's place but this one isn't it. The colors lack pigment and that purple does not blend. I will be returning this sadly.

Why are people not talking enough about THIS palette!? The colors are so pigmented and I blend them to each other so effortlessly... like wow!!! Not gonna lie; I got it for the yellow alone, but this purple with a proper base on the lid... PERFECTION! I recommend this palette.
You need this !!!

Omg this is such a beautiful and PIGMENTED eyeshadow palette. Be aware that only 2 shades in the palette are eyeshadows and the others are pigments. Regardless this is a great palette for everyday and colorful looks. You won't be disappointed.

Been eyeing this pallet for a while. Great bright colors that stay and even outlast leading brands like Huda and Anastasia

Absolutely love it! I excepted it to be bigger but the quality and size is actually better than most palettes I own. I want every single color they have honestly. I trust them and would buy this again
Wayyyyyy Bigger than expected !

It was much much bigger than I expected it to be! I was pleasantly surprised. It has great color, build able. Not the MOST pigmented, but it still works really well!!
Poor color payoff
kannjewell1998 from TN
The shadows were dry, had a lot of fallout and they wouldn't pick up on a brush. I had to use my finger to get any pigment. Overall not happy with my purchase. I wouldn't recommend
This palette is for everyone

They colors are bright and warm, any person any culture should rock this palette! I'm going to try to take care of and keep this palette as long as I can. It's like the said , throw away the colors that barely get used and give them top 9. I cried when I open it up for 1st time.
I'm so in LOVE
Lex from IN, USA
I bought this palette specifically for that green shade, but I've already been playing around and creating looks with the other shades as well! The rose gold is probably one of my favorites, and it's so easy to work with and blend compared to a palette from a different brand that I own that has vibrant colors. Absolutely want more palettes from this brand!
Definitely buying more

Color shows great

I absolutely adore this palette. The colors are so gorgeous and vibrant. They blend like a dream and leave no fallout on my face. I love that these shadows are just as vibrant at the end of the day as they are when they're applied.

I'm glad I bought it but I'm glad I bought it on sale. Some of the colors are pretty, it's the mattes that are troublesome. You can't blend them. They disappear! Especially the real and purple.
Jazzmar from N. Las Vegas, Nevada
Love the shadows they all blend well together and they all go great together. Would even purchase it again for my self or for a gift.
My first pallet from this brand😳🤍
Lynette Canales from Winter Haven, Florida
I actually really love this pallet and the day I got it I removed all the makeup I had on to do a look with this. This pallet out of the other pallets was my second pick, only because I got this on sell during quarantine. And the other pallet from this brand was sold out. But I really wanted the burnt brown smoky look. 💗
Nibenwen from Phoenix, AZ
I absolutely love this palette!! I don't normally go for palettes that are so colorful but I've heard amazing things about Juvia's Place and decided to give them a try! I'm so glad I did!! The colors are super fun to play around with and decently pigmented! I had to apply 2-3 layers to make them pop but the shimmers were BEAUTIFUL. My main issue was with the purple and blue. They came out patchy, weren't the easiest to blend, and I just found them pretty difficult to work with. But overall, I really recommend this palette! I'll definitely be purchasing more from this brand!
Constance from Michigan
omg this pallette is so good, but not as pigmented as I thought. takes a while to build. but in the end it is worth it.
In love with these colors.

I'm relatively new to this brand new make up world, but I would highly recommend this palette. The best impulse buy I made last year. The metallic shades are gorgeous, even with out an eyeshadow primer. If you are a fan of color do not miss this palette.
