By Young D

Comments about L.A. Girl Pro Face Matte Pressed Powder:

Ever since I found this powder, I fell in love. However Ulta doesn't carry all the ranges unfortunately. I believe there is at least 12, sis. I do my research on allll my makeup but trust me, if you love this powder, you should find your range. This is my favorite powder to set my makeup with bye bye pressed powder and gives me the exact color to match my tan

      Turned orange

      Pros

      Cons

      • Poor Coverage
      • Unnatural Color

      Best Uses

Comments about L.A. Girl Pro Face Matte Pressed Powder:

I tried this first as a light dusting over the LA Girl foundation after it had a few minutes to dry down – it severely darkened and had an orange tint. Had it not changed color it would have been a beautiful finish. Then I tried it over bare skin. A light dusting over fresh skin looked okay, but had no staying powder. A few hours later it looked like I never put anything on. As soon as I tried to touch it up with the sponge it turned dark orange. I have oily skin, but was sure to blot it before applying powder over it. I see that someone else called this a dupe for MAC and I agree in all ways. I've had all of the exact same issues with MAC pressed powder. I don't think I've ever had that happen with Maybelline powders, and it definitely didn't happen with Milani powders. This is going back.

Comments about L.A. Girl Pro Face Matte Pressed Powder:

I personally used this powder just to give a tad bit of extra coverage , set down my foundation , and to mattify any of my Dewey foundations that I love but sometimes just need to take the shine down a little. Be careful with this powder in that it is kind of heavy in my experience so don't start applying way too much. If you have really dry skin I honestly wouldn't recommend. There are other drug store brand powders that still have good coverage but are lighter on the skin. This would be great for oily skin to calm down the shine .

Comments about L.A. Girl Pro Face Matte Pressed Powder:

The shade I got was way too dark for me so I decided to use it as a bronzer only. This powder broke out both sides of my face! I do not have sensitive skin and rarely ever break out from any makeup products. The powder clogged my pores and I haven't been able to get rid of the breakouts yet.
