Most Helpful Positive Review Worth every penny!
I've used a pair of flat irons from this brand before and my naturally curly hair felt like SILK! I forgot which exact ones that I used so I took a chance and got this model. The reviews were great but also the price. I was so excited to use them when I got home. My hair was so silky straight by the time I got done, it was amazing. It thunderstrormed and was about 95 degrees that day here in Baltimore, and I was outside for most of the day and not once did my hair frizz up. I was beyond impressed and very happy with my purchase. It's worth every cent.
Most Helpful Critical Review Infuriating
I've had 2 of these now. The first one I exchanged because it started turning off while doing my hair. Thought at first I was hitting the button so I changed how I held it to prevent that and it was still turning off. Sometimes you get a dud, so I exchanged for the same thing and now I'm running into the same problem as the first one. It's very annoying to have to turn it back on 15 times just to straighten my hair.

this was recommended by an employee as i was taking this to school and usually only straighten my hair so i needed a good one. I used it to tame my curly/ wavy hair and it took maybe 5 minutes when with my usual straightener it takes 15-20! I RECOMMEND

Ordered this 8 months ago and it already doesn't work... it turns on but only heats up to a fraction of what I set it at. I've also found that, when it did work, it made my hair pretty frizzy. Super bummed. Spend your money on a different straightener.
Would not buy again

Got this as a Christmas gift, 6 months later it does not even heat at all. It will make your hair frizzy too. Would not recommend this straightener to anyone!!!
Yes I would buy this product again

I use this on my hair topper to straighten it and to curl it

Wish I paid double for a flat iron that was worth it!
Caitlin from Oregon
Doesn't heat evenly at all. It burned my hair and the curls didn't even hold. This feels worse than a $20 flat iron from the grocery store.
Jean Marie from New York
Purchased to try to create curls as other reviews said it worked well. Quite the contrary.
Great flat iron

my only issue is the heat setting. it's set from 345 to 415 so you're not sure what temp you're at precisely. some may not mind but I hate to go above 400 so about 350. wish it was digital, BUT still wonderful! I have thick natural hair & it does the trick.
Happy with this iron!

Very light weight compared to the hot tools iron I've been using the last few years. Doesn't snag, which is the reason I was looking for a new iron. Comfortable to hold and easy to use for the full straightening extravaganza. I can get much closer to the scalp with this vs the hot tools and chi irons I've used before. One or two passes for perfect straightness like I want. Hair stays smooth and straight all day. Usually the ends of my hair will start to wolf out, but not since using this iron. Not really a fan of the dial for temperature but it does have some resistance to it so it doesn't change easily while using it. Doesn't have an auto-off, hence the 4 stars. I unplug when I'm done but some mornings there isn't enough coffee and the auto-off would be nice. Bottom line, I'm happy with this iron.

I got this as a birthday present to myself last year after my second Chi within a few years broke. I did a lot of research on which one I should get, but ultimately settled on this one due to the price. I have fairly straight hair, medium thickness but a lot of it, so I didn't need some amazing flat iron. This one seemed durable and good quality, and I feel like it's lived up to that. I think it's worked really well on my hair and curls pretty well.
I really like this iron and recommend it to anyone who has moderate straightening needs. I'll probably hang on to this one for a while longer but am considering upgrading to the Babyliss ultra-thin flat iron since it has titanium plates and have heard really good things about it.

I adore this iron!!! I've been using the same flat iron for over 5 years, it was still working but with all the new technology of the irons today I wanted to upgrade. I was looking through ulta and wanted something reasonably priced but HIGH quality. When I opened up the iron, I immediately noticed how pretty and seek the design looked, although that's not something I care about much. Plugged it in and gave it a go and on the FIRST PASS my hair was silky smooth. I don't have curly hair, so i cannot speak to how well it will work on other hair types but for my hair it performs beautifully. super excited about this purchase.
Silky shiny smooth

This product is amazing!!! I use it on my hair as well as my daughters'. I also use it on my clients. I'm natural my daughters are as well along with most of my clinical. Works great on all hair textures!!!!
Love this flat iron.
Kris from South Carolina
Does a great job on my daughter's hair which is very thick and coarse. Also works well on my hair as well. Wish I would've gotten this sooner.
Bekah from Massachusetts
So upset!!! Got this as a gift for Christmas and it's already broken. Turn it on and it's stuck on the number "94" and will not heat up.
Did not like, will be returning

I have soft naturally curly hair that I can blow dry straight or use a flat iron. I previously owned a Babyliss Pro Ceramic and it worked awesome lasted for 6 years. It died in me so I decided to stay with the line and purchase this one. It's a no go. Even I the highest heat setting. Disappointed.

Heats up fast. Just doesn't turn off by itself.

This straightener is unreal! I have had this thing since I was a freshman in high school (2010). I am still using is very regularly to this day and it is working just as perfect as when I bought it (& I have not always been very easy on it)! It is the best straightener I have ever had. When (if) this straightener ever dies on me, I will most definitely repurchase again because I have never had a hair tools product be of such great quality and last me this long!
Great product at a great price.

I love this flat iron. Heats quickly.
Leaves too much frizz

I have 3C curls and used this but it left my hair extremely frizzy. Taking back to get more expensive one

I wouldn't buy this product again

I have been natural for 4 1/2 yrs and this is the best flat iron i ever had in my life. my hairdresser was changing her career that she has been doing for over 20 yrs and i felt like i can do my own blow out and flat iron and deciding to purchase baby bliss ceramic flat iron.i was nervous at first because i usually go buy cheap flat irons from the beauty supply store but i made the best purchase, i also had the flat iron for about 3 yrs now and im speechless on how great it still works!!!
Maybe I'm Just Using It Incorrectly
Carrie from USA
This flat iron does not work. I got it in a cosmetology kit last fall and it has never worked on my hair. Maybe I'm just using it incorrectly, but you'd think this kind of thing would be pretty straight forward... Yes, it turns on and heats up, but it constantly leaves creases in my hair and makes it look worse than it did before. I also have noticed more damage from the two times that I have used it compared to my more affordable straightener that i've had for years. Bottom line, I don't recommend wasting your money on this.
Terrible! Broke after 11 months
Felecia from Columbus, ohio
I have this for 11 months, and the plates began to heat them evenly after eight months. Right after the 11th month of having it the iron stopped heating up and eventually started smoking and it literally exploded my outlet.
I had a Jose Eber for 11 years and didn't have one single issue. The lady at ulta talked me into this and I now regret getting rid of my Jose Eber.
Mysmith from Santa Fe springs
This flat iron is definitely not for Mixed people's hair. I have really thick and curly hair and this flat iron doesn't make my hair flat or straight at all! Even on 450 degrees! A waste of $ !
