Comments about Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation:

Amazing foundation! Looks perfect on the skin with such full coverage and stays matte all day without needing to be set. The only flaw is that it broke me out but maybe that's just my skin. Also wouldn't be good for dry skin as it's very matte just like the fenty foundation.

Broke me out and smells like paint :(

By Jess

from Surprise, Az

Comments about Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation:

I've heard many YouTube influencers rave about this foundation.. I wanted to love it from the price stand point since my favorite is the Estée Lauder foundation that cost $42 a bottle.. but all this foundation did was break me out, horribly all over my face and it has a strong paint smell.

AWFUL

By Makeup lover

from I don't wanna say

Comments about Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation:

so many people recommended this to me so I bought it. But my face broke out so bad. It is the most oily feeling foundation I have ever felt. It feels awful on the face, and it's so difficult to set. You can only set it with a loose powder, not a press powder. I hated this foundation.

Comments about Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation:

I read reviews on this prior to purchase, so I was excited to try it. I have uneven skin tone, light acne, and acne scarring. It took two layers to cover effectively. At that point I felt my makeup was caked on. It looked good at first, just heavy, but after a few hours my face turned very shiny. By the time my 8 hr work day ended, it hadn't lasted. I could see all the flaws on my face because it had somehow rubbed off. I tried it for 3 days to give it a chance. Same thing each time. But by the third time I was breaking out more than usual. I'm sad it didn't work for me, especially after all the hype I heard about it.

pretty good foundation

Comments about Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation:

it does get kinda gunky if you dont use it fast enough and oxidizes a wee bit but the coverage and finish is really nice.

Not for everyone

By Karli

from College Park

Comments about Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation:

I tried this when it first came out, I was excited by the shade range especially because I'm very pale and cool toned. I found the perfect color match, which is why I give it 2
stars, and the foundation looked beautiful when I first applied it. However, by the time I finished my makeup, finished getting ready and drove to class it was already breaking down on my skin! This is within an hour or so from the initial application! I believe that part of the problem was that my skin gets oily very quickly, and I admit at the time I didn't have the knowledge to control it as well as I can now. It might act differently now, but I'm too afraid to try it again. I love long lasting makeup, and this doesn't give it to me. It caked up in some areas, broke down in others, and it was oxidizing in a patchy way. Just very strange and unflattering on my skin.

Yes! If you are on a budget and need something that will give you amazing coverage especially if you have oily skin, you must try this foundation. It lasts long. I wear on top of benefit porefessional mini primer. It's flawless and doesn't give flash back.

    Best Drugstore Foundation

    By Sav

    from CO

Comments about Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation:

This stuff is miraculous. Yes, it does smell funky, but it really is such a beautiful formula. Coverage-wise, it is comparable to the Too Faced Born This Way. I would say that this foundation is definitely more drying than that one, so if you have oily, combination, or normal skin, this will look beautiful. It looks fantastic blended with either a brush or damp sponge, and is absolutely buildable. I would say I get about a 6 to 8 hour wear, so perfect for a night out or work day. This truly is such an amazing foundation, and I highly recommend it. Coming from someone who has worked in the beauty industry for awhile now, this truly is a great formula.
Side note: Keep in mind that not every makeup product will agree with your skin. However, that is not a reason to post a bad review on it. If it breaks you out, just move on. But, if the performance of it did not live up to what it claimed, than that justifies for a review.

    Not a fan

    By Mimi

    from Texas

Comments about Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation:

I can get past the smell of it but this foundation makes me look a lot older. I have combination skin and it makes my face look so dry. I don't ever have that problem with other foundations. It also doesn't give me much coverage on my nose. Again, not a problem with other foundations.

    better than expected

    By jackievbear

    from Chicago, IL

Comments about Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation:

I've been using the same foundation for years but was looking to try something new and had never tried wet n wild foundation but had heard good things. the first day I tried it I was not very happy with it. i blended it out with a foundation brush and it had full coverage but I felt like it really grabbed onto my power products and didn't let me blend them out. the second day I applied my powder products with a lighter touch and they blended out better. third day I blended it out with a beauty blender instead of brush and this really helped with it feeling thick but still offered full coverage and my powders blended perfectly. only thing I don't like is the scent, it smells like paint
