Baaaaaad

By Kay M

from Ohio

Comments about Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation:

This foundation is garbage. I bought two shades because I was unsure what shade I would be in, and I will be returning both. So many youtubers love this but it did not work on my skin at all! I have combo skin that's been more dry than oily lately, and this product looked so bad. It clung to dry spots no matter how much moisturizer I used and broke up on my oily areas. Only good thing was the shade and price.

Buy something else instead

Comments about Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation:

I have oily/combo skin and I'll only maybe get one breakout around that time of the month, but my skin is generally smooth. This immediately broke me out. I had multiple GIANT, painful breakouts once I started using this. Once I stopped using it, my skin was clear again. Even if it doesn't break you out, the coverage is okay and it's quite thick. Wouldn't recommend it.

okay foundation...

Comments about Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation:

Okay, so don't get me wrong this is a nice foundation...for the price. I wasn't expecting this to be like a high end foundation. I was actually able to find my shade and the foundation blends well, but I can NOT get over the smell. It smells like straight up paint! I know it's petty, but it grosses me out. When I go to put the foundation on it makes me feel like I'm legit painting my face. For five dollars I expected a little nicer quality considering the maybelline fit my foundation is the same price and smells decent.

Comments about Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation:

I bought this just to try it out and wore it just for a few hours and oh my gosh the Breakouts were horrible the next day. Mind you I washed, Cleansed and scrubbed my entire face clean of makeup and even used a pore strip to take any excess makeup out of pores the night I wore it. I woke up in the morning and had 2 breakouts one on my chin and another on my forehead. I am not prone to acne so I knew this was the cause I do not recommend its awful!

Just no...

By Ch123

Comments about Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation:

This foundation is horrible. I tried applying with both a beauty blender and a brush, both resulted in a super cakey finish... even before setting it. I have oily skin and even with a mattifying setting powder and setting spray, I ended up super oily by mid-day. This is just a no...

One of my fav drugstore foundations

By shelley

Comments about Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation:

I need my foundation to last 12-15 hours. When I use my Benefit primer, this one does a good job of holding up. It is thick and certainly doesn't feel light, but that doesn't bother me. it can get cakey if you powder throughout the day. I just blot the oil rather than add powder.

worst foundation for dry skin

By Cheyenne

from Jacksonville, Arkansas

Comments about Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation:

I picked this up because the price was unbelievable and one of my favorite YouTube beauty gurus said it was one of the best drugstore foundations. I noticed the paint smell as SOON as I opened the bottle. Not only did this foundation stain my beauty blender, it looked absolutely terrible on my skin. I have Combo skin (Dry + acne prone) and as soon as I began blending the product out it clung to my flakes and dry patches. It looked absolutely horrific. If you have normal skin/oily skin I Imagine it'd be okay, but for the lads and ladies with dry skin I strongly recommend you stay away from this foundation

Affordable foundation

Cons

    • Normal Skin

Comments about Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation:

I have heard of a lot of good things about this foundation and that it was pretty comparable to high end foundation. I tried this foundation wore it for my engagement photos and to work. I think it blends great and is easily buildable, however I only needed two layers to get my desired coverage. I gave this four stars for a few reasons...first being the smell of this product when you open the bottle , it smells like paint...the smell does go away though after it's on the face. Two, the foundation did pretty good for long wearing but if you tend to get oily you will need to blog your face after 9+ hours. Three, this product has a little transfer even with powder and setting spray but it's totally do able. I would consider this a really good winter foundation for ladies on a budget...but I have a feeling this will sweat right off my face in summer.!

Comments about Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation:

This foundation has worked amazing for me. I saw that the ratings were not that good for this product and I am very surprised. This foundation is definitely medium to full-coverage. It's easy to blend and is great for photos. Not to mention the price! I have very oily, acne-prone skin, I've been using this foundation for a few months now and have yet to see my skin having a bad reaction to it. I would definitely recommend!
