Can I leave this on overnight? Or does it have to be washed out in the shower post-shampoo?

However, the treatment benefits are in the hair after the initial 5 minutes. Leaving the treatment in longer will not add to the benefits or results. Depending on your hair needs, Defy Damage Sleepover Overnight Nourishing Treatment may be a better fit, which can be left in overnight and does not need to be rinsed out.
