The brown color has a better formula
I bought the duo of black and brown off the website and I absolutely adored the brown shade (that I tried first). It was a gorgeous color, built well, separated lashes, lengthened, and volumized. Its everything I wanted in a tubing mascada. The black shade though? I find to be completely different. Its gloopy and difficult to apply, I am unable to get real separation, snd it doesn't look volumized it looks chunky. It still wears okay, unless I get teary during the day. But I am disappointed by the inconsistency in the formulas.
Worst tubing mascara
I love tubing mascara (Thrive is my favorite, second is tarte). Bought this one because so many influencers recommended it. Waste of my money. Worst tubing mascara I've tried. Flakes badly. Messy to apply. I wanted to try to use it ip, but can't do it. Into the garbage it goes.
Looks good but flakes
I wear contacts and several times when I've worn this mascara it has flaked into my eyes and feels uncomfortable. If you apply 2 coats rapidly it looks the best because added dry time and a 3rd coat gives a clumpy look and little balls on lash tips. Its good but due to the flakies I dont think I'll repurchase. It doesnt smudge.
