Excellent question; actually Dr. Perricone holds the patent on Vitamin C Ester which is a stable and highly absorb able form of Vitamin C. You can learn all about the science in his books and lectures on YouTube. Was this answer helpful to you

At first I was a little put off by the color but this is the ONLY sunscreen that didnt break me out, didnt run and didnt make my pores feel clogged by the end of the day. I freakin' love this stuff!! I have been using this since 2019, and have always loved the creamy consistency of the product, which reassured I was using a quality product. It is one of the few creams I have tried that feels lighf on my skin, non greasy, absorbs well, and has spf. I highly recommend to women who hate the feel of makeup on the skin. It also, doesn't cause me break outs or irritation. I bought a several jars on sale and sending the extra out as Christmas gift for my oldest daughter.

No longer a whipped moisturizer

Submitted 2 years ago

By BigEars

From Phoenix, AZ

I have used this product for years and the most recent jar I purchased was a different formula. The texture is no longer whipped and fluffy, it is now a runny cream. It still goes on as a fairly light moisturizer, but I preferred the previous whipped texture. This used to be worth the price, but the new formula is not. Not sure why they do not mention reformulations on their packaging, seems misleading to not do that.

Terrible new formula

Submitted 2 years ago

Perricone MD was recently acquired by another company who immediately changed the formula of this moisturizer. This has been a staple in my routine for years but the new formula is greasy and doesnt provide as much sun protection in my experience. Do not buy until the company brings back the old formula, which ive been told by their customer sevice people should eventually happen. Im so upset about this lol. I found a new moisturizing spf from Haruharu, their mineral sunscreen has taken the place of this and it only costs 11 dollars. So I thankfully no longer need this stuff. Perricone MD plays stupid games, wins stupid prizes.
