I am not sure which ingredient it is that does it, but it breaks down the bonds in your hair/burns your hair similar to what I experienced using Vegamour. My hair dresser told me it is the keratin in Vegamour that did it to my hair and she used the Amika bond repair mask to fix the damage. It makes ...

My scalp used to be itchy and dry using Herbal Essences and this has completely turned my hair and scalp around. My hair is shiny, my scalp is no longer itchy, and it smells great when you're washing! I have very thin fine hair and this does make my hair a tad oilier at the roots than normal but I'll take it for the other benefits!

It makes it too elastic to where it snaps off when you brush it. I never had breakage before and now I do. Will use the Amika Bond repair mask to fix the elasticity issue like I had to do after using Vegamour.
