Not for acne prone skin
I'm sure that this may work for some people, so take this with a grain of salt as everyone is different and I've heard good things about this cleanser. I'm just gonna share my experience as someone with combination, acne prone skin. I was already breaking out a bit, so I decided to give this cleans...

Skin Prepped for Cleansing
I have been using this product for about a month now and I have to say it really works for me. I have oily skin and I wear sunblock daily. It really emulsifies a lot of the oil and dirty my skin accumulates throughout the day. Perfect for a good foaming cleanser. I use the Heartleaf Quercetinol Pore Deep Cleansing Foam witha silicon brush head and my skin feels great afterwards. Clean and clear. I'm love it except if you have acne proned skin. I would use it.
I will buy this product again
This Anua Heartleaf pore control cleansing oil is part of a 2-step cleansing routine for my skin and it works really well. I have very sensitive skin which is due in part to Hormone Replacement therapy for post menopause. I find when I start with this oil based cleanser and after a thorough rinse my skin felt great, but the key is to follow it up with a gentle cleanser. Never skip that last step as you may find your skin responding with unwanted acne. I have been impressed with the appearance of my skin after daily use as my pores look almost nonexistent. So, the end result is that my skin looks firmer and more radiant.
I would buy again
This face was highly recommended as part of a double cleanse.
stop! this destroyed my skin
Let me start by saying that I love Anua products. I bought this oil after seeing so many rave reviews. I did patch test, and the first use was great. I noticed during the second time using that I had some mild discomfort and woke up that night to a painful rash all over my face and neck. I do not usually have issues with skincare, and can use the heartleaf toner without incident. Please, please avoid this. For reference my skin was fine prior, and this is the only new item. I am still trying to calm my skin down over three days later, and may have to call the derm it is so bad.
Step One to Clearer Skin!
I started using this and it works great! This is only step one to cleaning ladies! You gotta use the cleanser right afterwards! Works great for dry skin!

Is this gently enough to use on your eyes to remove waterproof mascara?
- Asked by R
- Official Answer By Anua - Brand EngageThank you for your question. The Anua Heartleaf Pore Control Cleansing Oil is formulated to gently remove makeup, sunscreen, and impurities, and many customers do use it around the eye area. However, since the eye area is particularly delicate, we recommend using it gently and avoiding direct contact with the eyes. For waterproof mascara, the cleansing oil may help dissolve the product effectively, but depending on the formula and amount used, you may still need to massage gently or follow with a dedicated eye makeup remover if necessary. Should you have any questions or need further assistance in the meantime, feel free to reach out - we’re happy to help. Was this answer helpful to you

- Asked by kiki
- Official Answer By Anua - Brand EngageThank you for reaching out and for your interest in our Heartleaf Pore Control Cleansing Oil. The Heartleaf Pore Control Cleansing Oil can generally be used alongside your current cleanser. How does the oil remove dead skin/ which ingredient?
- Asked by Lauren
- Official Answer By Anua - Brand EngageThank you for your interest in our Heartleaf Pore Control Cleansing Oil. The cleansing oil works by dissolving oil-based impurities such as sunscreen, makeup, and excess sebum on the skin. When massaged onto dry skin and then emulsified with water, the oil helps lift impurities from the pores so they can be rinsed away. While it does not exfoliate dead skin cells like chemical exfoliants, the cleansing process can help leave the skin feeling smoother and clearer. Should you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out - we’re happy to help. Was this answer helpful to you

- Asked by Mon
- Official Answer By Anua - Brand Engage"Thank you for reaching out and sharing your skin concerns with us. We completely understand how challenging it can be to build the right routine when dealing with hormonal acne, sensitivity, and combination/oily skin. We’d love to recommend a gentle yet effective Anua routine that can support your skin: Suggested Routine: • Cleanser: Heartleaf Quercetinol Pore Deep Cleansing Foam – gently removes impurities without over-drying. • Toner/Pads: Azelaic 10 Hyaluron Redness Soothing Pads – calms redness and preps the skin. • Treatment Serum: Azelaic Acid 10 Hyaluron Redness Soothing Serum – helps reduce inflammation and supports acne-prone skin. • Moisturizer: 3 Ceramide Panthenol Moisture Barrier Cream – reinforces the skin barrier without heaviness. • Spot Treatment (as needed): Heartleaf Centella Red Spot Cream – targets blemishes and irritated areas. Tips: • Always finish with a broad-spectrum sunscreen. • Introduce new products gradually and patch-test before full use. • Keep your routine simple and focus on barrier repair if you experience irritation. We hope this helps you create a routine that feels both safe and effective. Please feel free to let us know if you’d like simplified set options or tailored recommendations."Was this answer helpful to you
