Good color, poor texture
The color is a universally flattering nude. Upon application, the color goes on okay but it does feel thick. Just WOW! OMG!!! Finally, relief!
First off, I do NOT do reviews. I may like something, but generally don't get "wowed" or feel compelled to write anything. However, with this- just wow! I have a medical condition that leaves my lips not only chronically dry, but a peeling, bloody mess. They will literally crack open and bleed. I have tried everything- and I mean everything. I hardly wear lipstick because it is too drying. I have been using primarily Clinique lip balm, but tried this on a whim from an online recommendation. I was a little nervous of using lanolin- I am allergic to wool and usually avoid lanolin just in case. I figured, my lips are already a mess, how much worse could they get? I bought the tinted lip balm in "Nude", which is a very neutral, easy-to-use color. I also bought the 12 hour overnight balm. I use both together. In just a few days, my lips (that have been raw for literally years), are HEALED! No bleeding, no peeling, no stinging- just smooth, great-feeling lips! And, added bonus, the balm doesn't seem to bleed into the lines around my mouth. It is some type of voodoo magic! This is a "can't live without" product for sure!!!
In love with Spice
This is my third variation of a lanolips lip balm and I love them all. The shade Spice isn't accurate to what the picture online shows, but it's still really pretty. It's more of a red wine color than a "spice" color. The picture I'm uploading is the color after about an hour of wear. It lasts a long time, and it's perfect for the winter. I live in a northern state where it's dry and below freezing 6 months out of the year, and Lanolips is the only thing that helps.

I was looking for a substitute for Elf for Ride Or Die / Tough Cookie which they may have discontinued. And so got this one. It's thick - which I like because it covers my pigmented lips a bit. I like it and would recommend.
Color SPICE (sticky!!)
I wanted to love it but i didnt! The color is nice just didnt go with me. I didnt like the consistency at all. It was more of a tacky/clumpy consistency. I prefer something thats more easy to spread and much more moisturizing.
