Most Helpful Positive Review Love the brand
It does smell like popcorn butter but strangely enough I really like it lol I have so many tubes of Lano. I never have chapped lips or cracked cuticles.
Most Helpful Critical Review Love Lano, but this smells nothing like coconut
I usually LOVE all Lano products. I've loved them for years. My favorite is definitely the 101 and the Perfect Nude Tinted Balm. I was so stoked to try Coconutter. So when it was available at Ulta I jumped on it and bought it. But I ended up returning it a week later because of the smell. I know everyone in the reviews says buttered popcorn, but to me, it smells like Greek yogurt. Very milky, but not in a good way. In the "left yogurt out in the sun" kind of way. Nothing like coconut milk or any "holiday" I've ever smelled, so I have no idea what they were thinking when they cooked up this scent. So the only reason it gets 3 stars is for the original lanolin and the packaging. I wanted to love this....but ew. Stick with the original fruities or the 101.

I have super dry lips year round so I've tried countless lip products throughout the years. No matter how expensive or great the formula, I still experience dryness daily. I honestly know why I even purchased this, but it works better than pretty much everything else I've tried. I find that putting a layer of original Chapstick brand chapstick on, followed by a layer of this at night, my flaking and peeling has improved significantly. Only giving 4 stars because I do still have some dryness occasionally

I have never tried products by this company before and honestly I'm glad I picked this up! I love glossiers balm dot com but I'm not a fan of the packaging/lack of applicator. This lip balm by LanoLips gives me everything I need in a lip product and more! I love the packaging, the coconut smell is on point, and most importantly I can apply it directly to my lips! I can't wait to try other flavors!

LOVE this stuff! Worth the price, it lasts forever and it's truly a multi purpose balm. Love the hydration and the scent
My Fave - But The Packaging?
Bailey from Ohio
Truly my favorite lip balm but every single tube I've ever purchased has cracked along the threads where the cap screws on. Has anyone else had this issue? I love it but I hate this aspect of the packaging and how it makes a mess once this happens.
Love it !

Exceeded my expectations! Makes lips super soft and hydrated lives up to what it says it will do! ☺️

Use it everyday, specially in the winter! Recommend it to everyone!
Lip saver!! So much better than I dreamed!
Mia from Kyle, TX
Bought this because I could tell an eczema flare up on my lips was coming (corners get impossibly dry and cracked, which of course takes forever to heal; lips themselves get flaky and peel) and it seemed promising. Thanks to this, I've avoided the horrible symptoms I've experienced before and my lips are very smooth. The corners of my mouth are still a tiny bit dry, but it's nothing compared to what it has been in the past. In fact, it's hardly noticeable by me.
I'm not a doctor, but I would absolutely recommend this to anyone experiencing crazy dry lips (eczema related or not)! I'm so happy I gave it a shot!
Nice & creamy, healing

This is my 4th tube on Lanolips. It's not sticky but very moisturizing and lasts a long time. A little goes a long way.
Better than any lip balm/mask
T from FL
I've tried just about every lip balm/butter, and have tried the Milk, Primera, and Laneige lip masks and none of them work as well as this.
ashley from maryland
I've used this product before with no issues (unscented & lemon). I'm not sure if its from the fragrance or the formula itself. But, after using this I had a horrible reaction around my lips & mouth. Avoid this scent if you have sensitive skin :(
Tube only half-full
Elise from Las Vegas, NV
Tube was only half-full. Its a shame because I love this product: the packaging is so cute, I love the natural, non-toxic ingredients, and it works very well. If the tube had been full, I would have given this 5 stars.
Smells SO bad
tesselizabeth from California
I love this product and I like how it gives you a glossy pout while still moisturizing. I am usually obsessed with anything coconut scented but this smells disgusting. It's like melted butter or old yogurt… so gross. I have to plug my nose just to put it on and for the price… not worth it. I bought the strawberry one as well and I love that one! But would definitely not recommend this scent.
J.Bar from Ohio
I personally love the coconut scent and the fact that it's not tinted. My main use is on the lips at nighttime. I've tried nearly everything in the market and this one is fabulous. Over lipstick is also nice.
Love but hate
AHS from Fl
I wanted to love this so badly. First though, it's amazing in regards to moisturizing my lips. BUT this leaves a gross white film on the inner portion of my lips every single time I use it. I've never had that problem with any other balm. Idk if I'm going to return it because maybe I'll just use it overnight, but for the price it's just not worth it to me.
My favorite balm!

good, thick lip balm

i was hoping this would be a dupe for glossier's coconut balm dot com and was sadly disappointed. the scent is kinda weird, more like movie theater butter flavoring than coconut. however it's very hydrating and usually stays on well even with eating and drinking. if used at night before bed, i'll wake up with soft, moisturized lips! it's very thick and doesn't necessarily absorb into the skin/spread over a larger surface area so i don't think i'd use it as an ointment type treatment on the body. good lip product tho, i'd consider purchasing a different scent.

This feels like butter going on. It immediately starts soothing and softening my lips. It lasts and stays on for hours. No need to constantly re-apply and it looks amazing. Make my lips look fabulous.
Double Treatment Done Well
Kat from USA
Originally I wanted to step out of the box with utter curiosity for a new style of cuticle repair. I haven't thought of using a lip style balm for it since I was maybe in grade school and desperate with nothing more than my good old chapstick to fix a bit of winter dried skin.
Much like O'Kieffes or Carmex, this has a thicker consistency that will be a little more sticky and very hard to rinse or wipe off. This will grip right onto your skin and anything around it. However, this means that you just use a Q-Tip and apply it to the top of your nail and try your hardest to not pet any animals unless you wanna literally have hair stuck for hours.
It does its job well for softening and repairing my skin on my cuticles and lips or even nose, but also stays for hours on end through anything on the day. This survived many coffee and water breaks.
All in all, does the job well for both ways.
Lodester from Utah
Lanolips is the best lip balm! I put it on and it lasts 8+ hours! Coconutter smells like coconut to me. I like the smell. I don't get the popcorn butter smell other people are mentioning.
Moisturizer NOT a snack
Dani from CT
This product a balm and made to hydrate. If you want something that tastes good this isn't a product for you - I mean who wants to eat lip balm.
I have dry lips and loved the Bite Agave lip balm and mask but they went vegan and changed their formulas, plus for the company and an annoyance for someone like me - I'm not against going vegan but I loved their balm.
THEN I found Lano Lips. I'm sensitive to smells and have tried a ton of different balms and they were either too thin or had a scent which gave me a migraine. I love that I can use this product for different parts of my body and I use this on my lips, cuticles and hands.
This product is a great consistency, a little thicker than Vaseline and is non greasy. AND it keeps my lips hydrated. I hate dry lips.
I buy this over and over. Best lip balm ever!
Deb from Loveland Co
I moved to Colorado almost 3 years ago, and the dry climate and me having a habit of biting or licking my lips means that they are chronically dry. Lanolips products are the best that I have tried. I especially like that when I apply it at bedtime it is still on when I wake up. I use it during the day too. They have pretty tints for day use.
It's just okay
Tiffany from Chattanooga TN
I've always been one to use Vaseline on my lips every night bc no one has time for dry lips. When I saw this I was excited to use it bc I assumed it was better than the Vaseline. Long story short, though a little goes a long way, it's not really doing anything but making your lips and the skin around your lips look goopy. No matter how little I put on, the product seems to spread and it looks like a child applied it. The other thing I noticed is that it doesn't actually moisturizer my lips. I found they got chapped and dry no matter how often I used it. I will definitely go back to using my tried and true Vaseline bc it actually works for me, and it sure doesn't cost as much.
Weird smell but works well
Stella from California
I like coconut smelling products and needed new lip balm, and this works pretty well to treat my chapped/dry lips. However, the smell is weird, it's like melted butter instead of coconut. The smell isn't super strong though and it fades, I only noticed it as I was putting it on and it stays on for a while so the scent eventually fades. I do think the product works really well though, so I'll probably just try a different flavor.
