SUNDAY RILEY TIDAL Deep Hydration & Plumping Serum

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I had never used this brand and I was really excited to get this Sunday Riley tidal deep hydration + plumping serum! I have used many different types of hydrating serums containing hyaluronic acid. This one felt non sticky and my skin glowed immediately and I can instantly feel my skin is hydrated- especially using on damp skin. No scent and no piling on my skin with other products when layering. I will be switching to this product instead of my previous hyaluronic acid serum. I love it!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I wanted to love this product because instantly when I put it on it was light, hydrating, and glided on like a breeze. I loved how refreshed I looked really gave that glaze doughnut look which was perfect for the night routine. Unfortunately I didn't even last five minutes before I had to wash it off. My skin is usually sensitive to touch (just some redness that goes away after a bit) but I haven't had a problem with any products in until this point. I was feeling an itchy burning sensation so I didn't even get to the picture. I didn't use any other products with this so I knew it wasn't a mixture problem. Not sure what exactly happened, I didn't use any let my face calm down and took it easy for a week before doing a spot test on my cheek and same thing happened so I gave up. If you do not have sensitive I definitely recommend as it is super hydrating. If you have sensitive skin I would be caution. I did picture my face after it calmed down a bit after washing it has little bumps that formed under the skin making me think that I may have had a reaction to something I'm just unsure of what. I also pictured the ingredients for anyone who is curious.

I think the product itself applies nice and is very hydrating. However my biggest con was that my skinned purged really bad the first few uses. I had to hold back on using chemical exfoliants and other toners to try combat this issue. But a few more weeks of use and my skin was fine. It has a little bit of an earthy scent which may turn people away but I didn't mind it. I do have sensitive skin so maybe this product is not meant for me, but I really enjoyed it anyway.

I grabbed this serum because the name promised "deep hydration + plumping," and after using it for a few weeks, I'm genuinely impressed. The texture is lightweight yet visibly rich—it glides on smoothly and absorbs pretty quickly without leaving that tight or sticky feeling. My skin has felt noticeably more supple and hydrated, especially in the morning when I wake up and it still looks "filled in" rather than flat. I love that the formula includes multiple forms of hyaluronic acid and lotus‑root mucin to lock in moisture and help with that plump‑look. (According to the brand it's wrapped in a "breathable water seal" to keep the moisture sealed in).  One thing to note: while the hydration is impressive, I didn't see dramatic changes in texture overnight—so it's not a miracle fix, but definitely a strong "make my skin feel good" serum. On the flip side, the scent is mild but noticeable (some reviewers mention they don't love it) so if you're super fragrance‑sensitive you might want to patch‑test.  All in all, if you're looking to upgrade your hydration game and give your skin a plumper, healthier look without heavy formulas, this one's a solid choice in my routine.
