• Tejaan is a rose oud, but not the austere kind. The fruit in the opening changes the whole character of it.
• Agarwood is there from the first drop, dark and resinous the way oud should be. What sits next to it is raspberry - sweet, a little tart and rose.
• That combination is the point of this fragrance. The berry lifts the oud and keeps it from feeling heavy or medicinal, which is the usual barrier for people new to agarwood.
• The heart brings in saffron and amber over musk. Saffron adds a slightly leathery bitterness that plays against the fruit, and the amber gives it body.
• This is the richest stretch of the wear. Rose returns in the base, this time over sandalwood and musk.
• The sandalwood turns everything creamy, and the finish is soft rather than smoky. It settles close to the skin and stays there.
• Alcohol-free concentrated oil, so there's no opening blast and no evaporation. One or two drops on the wrists is a full wearing. Hours on skin, longer on fabric.
