Hi. I use this through all my shoulder length hair after all styling is finished. I know this product is for strong hold. But after i put in hair, then I brush through the entire hair with a comb many times. Is this ok? Or is this not the right product to be brushing or combing through it after wards?

Been using this product for years after showering on dampened hair that has been detangled first and then finger scrunched and then air dried. The soft curls that result are full and amazing. Looks as though I dried and curling ironed for an hour instead of a few minutes of prep.

It is difficult to comb your hair after you put this in your hair and when you blow dry your hair and attempt to style it with the comb/brush does not glide through your hair it gets snagged in the hair. I have tried small amounts and large amounts, doesn't matter it does the same thing.

I have short, coarse, thick hair and this gel does not hold. It has a faint smell, doesn't flake, but it doesn't hold my hair. It may work better for fine straight hair.
