I have been using Paul Mitchell's Straight Works for more years than I can remember. I combine it with Paul Mitchell's skinny serum onto damp hair. It leaves my hair shiny and healthy. It is a product I cannot be without.

I'm Japanese and Mexican. For a majority of my life, I've had straight asian hair that I could wash and walk out the door and it would be smooth and silky all day. I would only blow dry if I wanted to curl it. Then I had kids in my 30s and my hair went through the change. It got wavy up top, with curly ringlets underneath. I didn't know what to do about the curl & frizz. I can control it if I blow dry it. It tames the wave and I put a little Davines Oi oil in it. It looks great, but it takes forever to do, so I only wash my hair twice a week. If I let it air dry, it looks like I got a wavy perm and brushed it out. Frizz central. Last week I came across Paul Mitchell's Smoothing Straight Works. Where has this product been hiding?? Immediately after application, my hair was smooth, dried smooth, went to bed and woke up smooth. I didn't have to blow dry. Granted, it's not silk straight, but it has a lovely wave to it and I finally feel comfortable washing it and walking out the door without the long post-shower hair care routine. I love the smell. Not too greasy or heavy. A little went a long way on my long hair. Paul Mitchell makes great hair products. It is Smoothing. My hair is Straight. And it Works. I highly recommend.
