Lightweight, hard bristles. Possibly less static.

I will start with pros first: the brush is very lightweight and easy to hold. It is also a pretty light blue color. The brush head is flexible, which can be nice to get a good contour on the scalp. I also see no problems with this brush molding, as there is no enclosed space for mold to accumulate. ...It will be very easy to clean, if needed. The cons are: the brush IS indeed lightweight, so it feels like it could break fairly easily. The "bristles" are just solid hard plastic and they don't feel soft on my head. For some people, this may be good if you like a stiff, rough brush. I am used to using my Mason Pearson boar hair and nylon bristle brush, and it is so comfortable to use. This plastic brush is just in a different category completely and I can't see myself ever using it over my Mason Pearson. As to the static free feature of this particular brush, I can't see much of a difference, as my other brush does not cause much static either. It does not get tangles out any easier either, whether used wet or dry (I have tried both.) I will say it is a little more comfortable to use on dry hair as opposed to wet hair. On wet hair I can barely stand to use it, and I am not particularly tender-headed. (I used to have cap bleaching done regularly on my hair and that will toughen a person up pretty well.) Overall, I recommend if you want an inexpensive brush with head scratching plastic bristles and possibly less static after brushing. Other than that, I don't particularly recommend.
