Pretty but messy
The Gel Chrome Eye Shadow from the Ulta Beauty Collection in the shade 'Starlight' is gorgeous but it is also extremely messy and can be difficult to apply. Missed the mark
I was so excited to get these when I saw them. They look so gorgeous in the pot that i bought 4. Big mistake. First off, these are not eyeshadows. They are glitter gel similar to colour pop glitter gel pots. Calling them an eyeshadow is super misleading. To give them a fair shot, I tried all 4 of the colors I bought with my finger and a brush. Every time it ruined my eye look and i had to scrape it off with an eyebrow brush. It goes on clumpy and very wet, laying down large chunks of glitter that refuse to budge and open areas with no glitter that pulls off the shadow underneath. Trying to layer makes it feel heavy and the glitter still wont disperse. Feels sticky and drying at the same time. I waited several minutes for it to dry then as soon as i opened my eyes all the way it pulled off my crease shadow and stuck in the crease. Despite being sticky, it took a while to scrapeoff my eye lids. Might work as a body glitter but its so unevenly chunky, I haven't tried. If you are looking for a body glitter. I recommend Colour Pop. If you want a nice glitter shadow, my go to is Half Magic.

I like the color and when swiped on my hand it was very pretty but when I applied it to my eyes it wont blend well glitter flakes won't blend well

I didn't like it
Gloopy
I wanted to like this eyeshadow, I really needed a chrome eyeshadow. Unfortunately, the chrome bits come on very unevenly. It's not an all-over glitter/chrome; I really have to pack it on to get it all over the lid, and it gets messy. I think I'll try it again one day but for my use at the time, it did not work.
