When I first applied this, I thought it was a plumping gloss because of the intense tingle. (NOTE: I HATE plumping glosses.) The feeling is not painful like the L'Oréal Hyaluron Plump Ambition or Prequel sunscreen balm, but it's something to note if you have sensitivities to mint. The shades are cut...

I would buy this product again
It glides on smoothly and has the perfect flush of color for a very reasonable price. I wish they would make it in a wider tube without the slanted applicator though.
Menthol Ingredient
I bought the shade Flamingo and while I enjoy the color and initial consistency, there is a burning sensation caused by the menthol ingredient. I don't like "plumping" lip products and wouldn't have purchased this if it had been labeled appropriately. These, along with many other plumping items, come up under the "fragrance free" category, but for those with diagnosed fragrance allergies, menthol is a fragrance ingredient and has to be avoided. Unfortunately, I'll need to return this.
LOVE THIS
I have color Bake and I am genuinely obsessed with it. I wear a lot of lipstick and it can be really drying on my lips, but when I put this on it's like my lips have magically healed in a matter of hours. The only con is that this requires a lot of reapplication as it feels like the lips absorb it really quickly. Wish they had a clear version!!

The shades are cute, but they're so sheer, they essentially look the same upon application, so no need to purchase more than one. The texture is comparable to Tarte's Maracuja Juicy Lip Balm (the OG, not the plumping version), so if you're looking for a similar vibe without fragrance/tingles, that's your best bet. Overall, this version is fine, but it's not the most life-changing gloss stick on the planet. Seems like every brand is making its own product with this trendy packaging to "keep up" with the market, but we (the consumers) have enough options! If I had to choose, I'd say this has a better texture/feeling than the NYX click sticks, BUT the tingly feeling and lack of color payoff brings it to the bottom of the list. Just pay a little extra to get the Tarte version. (They make minis if you're on budget).

Not gifted! I was just checking out this line and took a chance on this. Y'all...I'm going back tomorrow for a backup. I have more lip products than I could use in 2 lifetimes but THIS is instant holy grail. It looks completely different on my lips than any of the images on here, so it's worth trying! Trust a fellow addict LOL
