In order to determine this, please reference the Period after Opening symbol on the package, which resembles a tuna fish can, and has a number and an "m" representing "months after opening." I don't have very dark circles but bought this product in the shade Medium for days I do when I don't sleep well. This is a very balmy concealer that makes the under eyes look bright & radiant. Glad I purchased!
This has been on my list to try for such a long time but it seemed like such a frivolous purchase but my under eyes have gotten more noticeable so I wanted to fix it and this is nice especially for fair skin. I don't use concealer with this because my issue is very minor but this works perfect and I even sometimes add extra and nothing weird happens.

I'm on my second one of these. I really love it. I got my mother (in her late 60's) to try it as well. She loved it and wanted one in her stocking at Christmas. We are both still using and loving it. The coverage isnt as full as some true concealers. This is more of a brightener with some coverage. Great for everyday wear. (We both use the fair/light color)
