All I want, need and love in an eyeshadow.
I am so in love with the MACximal Long Wear Molten Metallic Eye Shadow. This eyeshadow from MAC is everything I want, need, and love in an eyeshadow. I got the shade After Party, and I am absolutely obsessed with it. I have included this color into so many of my makeup looks and it never failed me. ...

pigment differs between shades
The dazzleshadow version of illuminaughty is one of my favorite black eyeshadows, so I hoping this reformulation would be as good. while more pigmented, illuminaughty is more brown with blue/red shimmer. Its cute, but just not like the previous version of illuminaughty. I additionally tried locket ...

A prettier version of that's showbiz baby...

Comments about Cash In
The new color "cash in" is described as a "deepened rich forest shade with green sparkle," and that's exactly what it is. It is extremely similar, almost identical, to the older shade "that's showbiz baby." However, cash in is much more metallic (and thus, prettier, in my book). I'd give it 5 stars if it weren't for MAC decreasing the product size from 1.5g to 1g. Seems like every time we reformulate, the prices go up and the product size goes down. That, I don't like.
More teal than blue

Comments about Blueprint
This color is gorgeous, but if you're looking for a true deep blue, this isn't it. It's more of a blackened teal blue... very similar to emerald cut, but darker and much more sparkly. I'd give it 5 stars if it weren't for the fact that MAC decreased the product size from 1.5g to 1g (again) when they reformulated it. Yet, it's the same $. The prices seem to go up every year and the product sizes keeps getting smaller. Boo, hiss... 👎
Satin taupe redux

Comments about Bust
If you have satin taupe and are wondering if you need the new shade bust... you don't. They're nearly identical. I'd say bust is maybe a hair deeper and ever so slightly cooler. They both have the same amount of shimmer (I was expecting bust to be more metallic; it's not), but I'd say satin taupe still has a better application. Pretty color for someone who doesn't yet own the OG, but for those of us who do, this one is a pass.
The finally fixed illuminaughty!

Comments about Illuminaughty
I saw that they reformulated these shadows, and thought I might give this shade another chance because it looked better in the new swatch. Any sparkle or shimmer that the old one (allegedly) had would just immediately fall out upon application. You'd be left with a matte black eye every time (which is what the shade carbon is for). I'm so thrilled they reworked this color to make it into a proper black shimmer! Now it's perfection. I knocked a star off because we've now gone down from 1.5g to 1g, and we're being charged the same. 👎
Liquid one is better

Comments about After Party
I bought some of these, and the liquid dazzle shadow and the liquid one is better. This one isn't near as pigmented doesn't pop the way I want it too. Especially the pink fuscia one it's not very bright at all it's a lot darker than the photos on here. I'd return the powder ones if I could, but their new return window is very short.
