New Formula - Why?

The new formulation is a disappointing successor to the original product many of us have relied on for years. The difference was noticeable immediately - it smells a little like Carmex. (And if I wanted Carmex, I could buy it for half the price.) Gone is the gossamer glide, the subtle fragrance, and the lasting wear on my lips… I'll be using my fingernail to remove every last bit from tubes of the original formula while I begin the search for a replacement. *Sniff*

This used to be my absolute favorite lip balm. Amazing feeling on the lips and no taste whatsoever. It was perfect. But the new formulation is unfortunately awful. Horrific scent, taste, and feel. So sad that I need to find a new lip balm. I used to keep one of this balm literally everywhere.

I previously owned multiple so I could keep one in every purse or location. The new formula feels more greasy and LESS feeling like shea butter. It does not hydrate like it used too.

I have loved the Shea lip balm for many years but the new formula is just AWFUL. The scent is so off-putting and it is no longer a creamy texture. It does not moisturize nearly as well as the old formula. I'm sad to have to find a new brand of lip balm.
