After cleansing, I initially sprayed this 'Set The Tone' toner directly on my face. I was a bit enthusiastic, as it was my first try, and I sprayed too much, subsequently my face became slightly red. At the next trial, I sprayed less toner into my hands and patted it onto my face. This worked well. My skin quickly became accustomed.
