This is the Goat and Grail of Setting Powders
I was gifted this Fenty finishing powder called "Set it Down" in exchange for my honest review. TL:DR, I am literally in love with THIS and I am 99% that you will too. A very expensive luxury brand used to have a loose setting powder that would set your makeup so well, that once the transparent pow...

Picked the wrong shade
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Okay first I wanted to say I never got a chance to use this product. When it asked if I wanted to claim it I never realized it was for a darker skin person. But I can say the formula was very pigmented and when I tested the formula the powde...

not bad! left creasing lines
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] it was okay. it left a lot of creasing for me!
reformulation is a terrible downgrade!
The profiltr setting powder was my holy grail product. This new loose powder is the worst reformulation downgrade I've ever seen! The product is now half the size for the same price point. I was willing to pay this premium for the quality of the old product. However, the new powder is TERRIBLE. Not only does this no longer set my makeup down on my oily skin, but it seems to actually cause separation and patchiness and make makeup break apart. It actually makes my makeup look worse than if I never used it. The powder puff that it comes with is very nice, but I wish that the rest of the product was usable.
Wears well
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Love the packaging and puff it came with. My makeup lasted longer than it ever has and stayed matte. The only complaint is how much powder comes up at a time.

lovers to enemies
i used the old formula with my Haus foundation and it worked beautifully, but since it was discontinued i've been trying this new one. i hate it with a burning passion, it doesn't stick to every part of my foundation, it amplifies any acne i have underneath my foundation, and it is INCREDIBLY drying, coming from someone with combination skin. it also completely sucks up my highlighter only leaving straight glitter behind ): i'm so heartbroken to dislike a Fenty product so much
Drying
I love how this looks when it first goes on but really dries out my skin and breaks apart. Definitely not for mature notmal to dry skin.
