This is the Goat and Grail of Setting Powders
I was gifted this Fenty finishing powder called "Set it Down" in exchange for my honest review. TL:DR, I am literally in love with THIS and I am 99% that you will too. A very expensive luxury brand used to have a loose setting powder that would set your makeup so well, that once the transparent pow...

Picked the wrong shade
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Okay first I wanted to say I never got a chance to use this product. When it asked if I wanted to claim it I never realized it was for a darker skin person. But I can say the formula was very pigmented and when I tested the formula the powde...

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This is my favorite setting powder because not only as a translucent, but as someone has really dry skin, it is perfect. It doesn't make my skin super super dry, but also eliminates all the oils and it is super easy use

Cool
It applies super smoothly and feels lightweight on the skin, which I love—no heavy or cakey feeling at all. The matte look holds up well for most of the day and really helps control shine without looking flat. The minor creasing happens mostly around smile lines or under-eyes if I'm very expressive or in humid weather, so maybe baking it lightly or using a setting spray on top could help minimize that. Overall, it's a solid everyday option, especially if you're looking for something affordable that performs better than expected. I'd repurchase if the price stays right!

Dry patchy mess!
I thought I had picked out the original pro filter retouch powder but nope lol im assuming its being replaced by this and I am so upset because the OG powder was actually brightening on my pale skin and it was a great formula too. I decided to give this powder a try but OH BOY is it baddd. It leaves random purple/white powder splotches on certain areas of my face and attaches to all my dryness it also sets my makeup oldly and makes it super patchy??? The formula feels like super finely milled chalk and virtually has no pigment. Im NOT a fan of this new powder and wish they would restock and bring back the old formula
I like it alot.
FENTY BEAUTY SET IT DOWN SUPERFINE BLURRING SETTING POWDER was sent to me complimentary in exchange for my honest opinion. The setting powder is marketed to have a, "light as air" texture for a smooth finish. I was sent the color "Honey." Although the color would work for me during winter months, I would need to choose a darker shade for spring and summer months. Either way, the claim is true. This formulation does feel very light. The fine powder goes on smooth and leaves the final touch pretty and lightweight. Keeps your makeup locked in all day. My skin didn't feel bogged down by this product as a final step either. If you're looking for a good setting powder for your makeup routine, I would recommend this product in your shade.

Downgrade
I very much dislike this new formula, the color is a little different and leaves creasing. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone and now need to find a different brand.
