Given the tik tok hype I expected Saltair body wash to be very fragrant and leave a lasting scent. they don't! I do like this fragrance a lot but I don't find it to be particularly innovative and the body wash formula isn't life changing. it's just a pretty good body wash in a very aesthetic bottle

At first just smelling it I was a little underwhelmed I thought I probably won't re purchase not a huge deal I'll still use it since it does smell nice and I bought it. I would give the scent like a solid 7.5/10. It's a nice soft beachy vanilla. So I'm washing my body and my ears like I normally do, immediately feel a burning sensation behind my ears, my back, my inner thighs, my arm pits are burning. I am not a sensitive person when it comes to my skin so have never experienced that before. I recently acquired a bleach allergy/ contact dermatitis so I assumed it must have been to do with that and maybe at work after doing dishes I had somehow got some bleach on me???? Idk was being delusional. But the next morning everything else is fine. Some of my skin is mildly irritated and dry but my ears are HUGE swollen & red and like scaly??????? Like there's a layer of dry skin and my ear is so uncomfortable. I was shocked and it looked horrible. I put on some Benadryl cream and after a few days that all went away. I again assumed it had to be maybe a bug bite or some type of earring infection or had to do with bleach. I have never experienced this from a body wash. I end up buying my normal body washes and then I run out and reach for my Saltair again. This is about a month or so later. Immediate burning. Scaly patches on my arm pits. At this point I am over the contact dermatitis and am not experiencing issues with that anymore so could only be from the body wash. I'm not sure what is in this thing?? I've never heard of that and I have never had this experience before with any body care products. I'm sad I was so excited but idk just a PSA I guess for people with sensitive skin because mine isn't even that sensitive and I had some crazy reaction. I was so excited and wanted to try coral coast! I'm too scared now
Wonderful, Energizing Scent

I grew up loving the Satsuma orange body wash from The Body Shop but as I got older, I didn't love some of the ingredients and it felt drying on my skin. Since that time, I've always looked for a better replacement that still captures the energizing scent I would feel from the citrusy scent that the Satsuma body wash had. Once I came across Saltair and tried their Exotic Pulp body wash I have been hooked. It feels like the elevated, better for your skin version that I've been looking for for so long. I hope Saltair keeps this one around for a very long time because I love it so much.
