So my 15 year old dd swims alot- and she got highlights for the first time last year. Shes a level 8 naturally, highlights to 10. (now 11) we have access to a pool daily and then she joined the swim team. I don't know if anyo ne realizes how much they shock pool with chlorine after 30 swimmers hav...e practice for 2 hours but its like a 16 ounce big cup. Anyhow. This conditioner shampoo duo has protected her hair. I have masks, even almost shared my olaplex, we have leave ins, but this conditioner right here works. You only need a tablespoon and wow it's strong. She has wavy, highly porous hair and it sucks it up, no detangler necessary after, which is a miracle. Here's the bad part. I don't know why the athlete can't squeeze the bottle like her mom, but when it had about a 1/3 of the product left, even i have resorted to opening the top and POUNDING it upside down on the counter to get out an amount. I do it because it's that good. Its heavy, its moisturizing, it has just enough protein to help but not make hair stiff. It moisturizes my hair for up to 3 days, and I have older hair, sun and chlorine damaged as well, getting some fun wiry greys, and i take medications that make my hair brittle. This is better than any wen or anti aging or any other high end stuff i have used to help my hair be manageable. But if i had arthritis this would be a no. Just for reference, I have had masks in jars that had thinner consistency than this conditioner- its like frosting for a cake. It's awesome though- one star off for package.
