Not sure if it's due to postpartum hormones, stress, the silicones I was accidentally using (I know, I know - read the labels!), or, likely, a combination of the above, but my scalp has been super itchy and flaky this summer. I've even scratched scabs in a couple spots! Yikes! I picked up this serum because I love Pacifica and the ingredients are so nice. It's not as intense as I was expecting - no overpowering rosemary mint smell or tingle. It is very lovely to use. It's definitely a serum, not an oil, which is nice because it absorbs into the hair and scalp without being greasy at all. I feel like I would benefit solely from the weekly scalp massage habit this is encouraging, but the ingredients are super nourishing, too. My scalp feels so much better! I usually massage it in to dry hair before I shower. It washes nice and clean with a very subtle scent. I've put a little onto ends on non-wash days, also, and it softens dry hair nicely, too. Overall product and packaging (glass!) feels very luxurious for such an inexpensive product. Only criticism is that the dropper doesn't pick up a lot of product, so you have to go back in several times, but that's such a small gripe I even thought twice about mentioning.
I have long, thick hair and I only wash it once or twice a week so I get a lot of product build up. I put this on my scalp and massaged it in for awhile and let it sit for an hour or so before I washed it out. I didnt notice any kind of minty/tingley feeling and it didn't get rid of any of the product build up or dandruff. I was easy to use though. Easy to wash out and wasn't greasy. My dropper might also be defective, it only fills up maybe 1/4 of the way up so it takes awhile to use since I have to keep going back for more. Will most likey return.

I put Scalp Love Rosemary Mint Serum on once a week, about 15 minutes before washing my hair. It cleanses the scalp and helps with dryness.

My spouse has very bad dandruff and dry scalp. Even after the first use he noticed a remarkable difference!! This stuff does what it says it will do and sooths the scalp reducing flakes and itch. My only complaints are 1) it goes fast and 2) the dropper will only fill up 1/4 of the way so I end up just pouring it.

Invigorating and stops any hot day sweat caused itching instantly! Use a little in the morning to prevent that humid nasty feeling on your scalp entirely!

I have run through the gamut of scalp treatments. I have seb derm. It will never be cured, and I know that. I bought this with low expectations, and I only received the serum today, so I can't speak for the effects of using it long-term. However, I am currently experiencing "scalp weeping" -- that's when you have lesions or scabs that are oozing a substance that turns into plaque, which not only coats your scalp and affects your hair follicles, but it itches like hell. I refrigerated this for a few hours and applied it to my scalp as directed. I don't know what it will do for hair growth, but my scalp feels nourished and soothed on contact. It smells pleasant, too, but not artificial (it reminds me of fresh aloe -- some might not like that). I would wash the serum out -- the serum does not disappear, but perhaps, it's my own sebum mixing with the product and influencing the texture. I can confidently vouch for instant relief. I'm cautiously hopeful about what this will do for the overall issues, but it's already helpful for my immediate issues. If you purchase this and have seb derm, I highly recommend refrigerating it for even more relief when you apply it. I will probably repurchase since it's hard to find a serum that tones and balances the scalp without a bunch of heavy oils (those are a big no no, and actually worsen the problem).

You know how you use a certain shampoo and/conditioner and then when you run your fingers atriums your scalp u feel bits of junk at the base of the hair ? I would use this oil after certain shampoos and all that cleared up in one day!
It also helped my edges along with the base of my neck hair come back.
There's something about this oil, id keep it in stock if I was you ;)

It smells amazing and smoothies my itchy noodle instantly. Please never discontinue, this product is a life saver for me (anddd my head)

Ive used it 2 times so far it seems to help my scalp itchiness. I live in colorado we have a super dry climate. This helps..I use it as a treatment the night before I wash my hair. Paired with the exfoliating scrub its a good combination.

The serum had a great fragrance and felt really good, didn't itch, and didn't leave any oily residue. I've been putting it on after showering and it has helped with my hair growth.

I have struggled with a sensitive and flaky scalp on and off for many years now and this helped so much! It is nice to rub in and leave for a little while before taking a shower as usual and does not weight your hair down at all. Smells nice and leave scalp feeling fresh and clean!

It tingles but I haven't really seen a difference. My scalp still itches and gets oily two days later like it does with just shampooing and conditioning. While I don't hate it, I don't find it worth buying again.

Feels good on the scalp and I put it on right before showering and leave it in for about 15 minutes

I was skeptical of this magic potion but it immediately cleared up my incredibly dry scalp by my hairline and temples. Apply it when your hair is dry and leave for a bit before shampooing. I tried it first with wet hair and that was a mistake, but then I applied a little to my dry, flakey temple right after blow drying and just left it there and it cleared up the dryness and didn't mess up my hair!

One, this scent is super lovely! Two, this saved my irritated scalp after a winter filled with cold days and drying heaters. My scalp had become a bit itchy and dry. I purchased this after my stylist told me to use a toner to help the problem (note: follow up with a sulfate free shampoo & conditioner and wash in lukewarm almost cool water!). I massage this product into my scalp with my fingertips then wash my hair with the Pacifica sulfate free shampoo & conditioner from this same line (same delicious scent!). After one round of this, my scalp was soooo much better. I would certainly recommend it!

I've been having a lot of issues with my scalp lately, lots of flakiness and dryness. So when I saw this I figured I'd buy it and give it a shot. It's a bit difficult to apply so I go through parting my hair and applying there, but once it's on there and I massage it in I already see flakes and buildup coming off within a few minutes. I usually do this before bed then wash it out the next morning. My scalp definitely feels cleaner with less buildup and more moisturized. I've noticed a reduction in flakes and it seems to be slowly clearing my scalp with every treatment. The only negative is the packaging; the dropper is fragile breaks very easily. Luckily I have another I can use though.

This scalp serum is super great, I was worried it would be oily but no, not at all; and it really does help the scalp from being dry! It is actually helping my scalp from over producing so much oil somehow as well - I hope they never quit making this!
