Not thick, no breakouts, great under makeup
I've been looking for a sheer mineral sunscreen after wearing too many thick ones that, when coupled with moisturizer and foundation, make my face overwhelmed. Save Face is thin in consistency but easily layerable. Price is high for such a small bottle but its the best sunscreen I've found yet. My single bottle has lasted for about 1.5 months with daily application. (I use a different sunscreen for my body). I will say that the CA desert sun is harsh and I can feel a burn on my cheeks sometimes when wearing this so make sure to put a generous layer on if you will be in direct sun. Otherwise a light layer under makeup works just fine. It is also not waterproof so it will drip into your eyes if you sweat but I appreciate that it doesn't take forever to scrub off like waterproof sunscreens.
Very good product

It doesn't irritate my skin in the slightest. However it does leave a whitish cast on my face despite claiming not to. It's not nearly as bad as layer of white as with other mineral sunscreens though, and it's easily rectified/resolved by the next step of my morning skin care, when I apply my foundation over the sunscreen.
i dont leave home without it
