Burnt my Hair, Left brass- colored lines!
I NEVER leave reviews for products, even if they don't work out for me, however this product absolutely ruined my hair! I used it for the first time and immediately smelled burnt hair. I didn't have it at max heat, and only left it clamped for 5-10 seconds as recommended. The remainder of the night all I could smell was burned hair. I showered the next morning and the smell was even worse. After blowing it dry and straightening it, I could see brass-colored horizontal lines throughout my balayage colored hair. I'd love to share the picture I took in natural sunlight to show how awful my hair looks now. I spend a lot of money to have my balayage done, and this tool completely ruined it. I've contacted Conair directly to inform and see what they'd recommend. I would not even give this 1 star if I didn't have to. Do not buy this if you have colored hair.

Unfortunately I am returning the waver. It created amazing waves but my hair smells burnt. I could not even wash out the burnt smell

I don't know why this iron doesn't get better ratings, I am in love with the waves it produces! It was so easy to use and didn't take long at all to curl all my hair. My hair is fine and not super thick, I sectioned it off to make sure all layers got even curl. This was on three-day old hair so there was some dry shampoo and hairspray in it already. I would absolutely recommend this iron!
