 Revolution PRO Blur Stick Universal Face Primer

Hard to put on. Drying effect. I saw more lines then I usually do with other primers

I found this product kind of by mistake at Ulta and I have to say I'm a huge fan. Here are my reasons. 1. My major area or problem area is around my mouth for 59 year-old woman there's creases and wrinkles that sometimes look like scars and I have to say this worked it filled in around my mouth area and it lasted. I will say it takes a little bit of skill to work with this product. If you want it to work properly, you cannot have oily skin and use this product so I make sure that I constantly wash my face and keep up with my skin care. If you're not that girl, this is not for you make up doesn't work well if you do not have a good consistent skin care routine hydration is everything especially for the over 50 so young girls get your start now. I would say applying this around the mouth area with a sponge and feathering out with a brush would be the purpose application. I definitely would do this first, then go do my eye makeup and everything else to give this the time that it needs to dry down a bit again there's a learning curve here be patient it does work.

I stumbled onto this after trying and loving some of the other Revolution products. I initially tried the "watermelon" scented blur stick, which worked ok, but this my favorite by far. I've seen that some people complain about it being greasy; I can understand that to some degree, but anytime I use "stick" makeup, I always pat the application with a dry sponge. In case it helps, I'm 50 and have started seeing the forehead lines and laugh lines. I am also really insecure about the acne scars on my cheeks from pregnancy acne. Since using this blur stick, I don't worry about any of this stuff. It fills in the scars and lines and evens everything out. Once I've used the primer stick, I do my eye makeup and kinda let the primer adjust after I've patted it down. I could use this alone without foundation, but i do use maybelline 24 matte stay powder at the end of my routine. My skin looks clean, clear and not even remotely dry or greasy and it looks great all day. I would totally recommend this. I even told my mom about it and she's a big fan now too btw 😉

I like this product and absolutely do not find it greasy at all. I wish it had more tint in order to hide discoloration or marks. I wear it under foundation.

I wanted to love this blur stick, because I use a lot of Revolution Beauty items in my makeup case. Unfortunately, this product disappoints enormously. I have tried this product on the driest of driest skin, and after applying the rest of their makeup, I had to retouch with heavy powder to combat the oil that just created out of nowhere on my clients skin. The heavy powder caused blotchiness because of the silicone in the stick and caused pilling. When trying to blend with a brush (the patchiness) it made it 100 times worse I had to wash her face all off and start over again with a different blur primer with no silicone ingredients in it. Tried again on myself and my sister (oily and combo skin) with same results. So this product is made for apparently no one it seems.
