New REM Vs Old REM Vs Cherry Baby

OKAY peeps. I got this in the Wicked set that was released with the lip oil in Oct. I ALSO own Sabrina Carpenters Cherry Baby as well. Here's the deal. This scent is gorgeous- it opens with a soft , (non medicinal), powdery cherry then goes into a slightly woodsy sweet baked good smell. The drydown ...has a little of that blonde woods Ari smell (like the Ari fragrance, not the new lovenotes btw). To ME personally, I cannot get the smell of toasted cinnamon raisin bread out of my head. To me it literally has that delicious slightly fruity, syrupy, lil spiced, baked good smell that has just been heated and it's wafting through your house. How it stacks to Sab's: I am so glad I have both. Neither smell like artificial cough medicine. Sabrina's is that fresh picked, juicy cherry, fruity smell. You smell like sour cherry juice. Young, flirty, fruity, out on the town. Ariana's in contrast is like the cherry has been baked into a bread or cookie- it's a softer, powdery cherry that combines in with the other woodsy, sweet, gourmand notes. It's giving cozied up with a book, robe and slippers on a rainy afternoon vibes. This scent is truly comforting. You want to kiss the girl wearing Cherry Baby. You want a long snuggle hug from the girl wearing Cherry Eclipse. Seriously love both, and if they're so affordable AND different, u should just get both!! This is also not similar to rem much- I smell a little of that powdery woodiness but I think it's interesting that this is supposed to be the sister scent. It's not like the Clouds where they really are just tweaks of the original. OG REM is very different- powdery, musky, lavender, sweet, + herbal/sharp. This feels very warm and gourmand to me. I wasn't sure about this new one at first bc I had never smelled anything like it before, but if u don't like it give it a few tries and let your olfactory system get used to it before judging it, because it's SO SO good!!
