Hi. I have thin hair that I home color approx every 8 weeks. I purchased the volume shampoo and volume conditioner. After using it twice both times my hair is soft but lifeless and lies flat. The first wash I let my hair air dry and the second wash I dried it and both times my hair is flat and lifeless and won't hold a curl. Am I using the right shampoo and conditioner? I only wash my hair 3 to 4 times a week and would like to give it maybe one more try but what is the return policy? For the cost of the product I want to be happy with it. Thank you.

- Official Answer By Pureology - BEHi, thanks for your question, based on the information you shared, the Pure Volume line would be the suggestion for your hair type. After shampooing and rinsing with Pure Volume Shampoo, we suggest you try applying a lesser amount of Pure Volume Conditioner, and just the mid lengths and ends only. This should help the scalp hairs that may not need it, from being weighted down.Was this answer helpful to you

This combo of products was one of the best I have received. Loved the packaging and scent of this product. Loved how soft this conditioner left my hair. Def a great alternative without damaging ingredients.

I dont like the Pure Volume set at all. As someone with thin hair that needs volume I figured since I liked the typical Hydrating formula this would work too. No. It made my hair super static and I hate the way my hair feels after. I wish I would have stuck with the hydrating formula as now I am out a lot of money for a failed experiment. Also I didnt notice any added volume...
Did not like my blonde hair
The minute I put shampoo on my scalp my hair lost all its moisture immediately leaving it feeling rough, like wire. Had to wash hair w/kerastase and use Fekkai deep conditioner for 20 min just to get it to feel semi soft. Def not trying this brand again. Its not for my bleached blonde hair.

This conditioner does the job of volumizing, but it's not a good at detangling or moisturizing. Also it doesn't distribute that well. I have to use more of it than I normally do (unfortunate, given the price), and have to use additional products to get a smooth, shiny look and feel.
