Key Ingredients
- Salicylic Acid (1%): an acne medicine that clears blemishes and helps prevent new ones from forming by encouraging the shedding of dead skin cells and helping to keep pores clear.
- Biodegradable Exfoliating Beads: work together with salicylic acid to help slough away dull, dry layers of dead skin cells, helping to clear pores and prep them for the Pore Targeting Treatment.
- Aloe: helps to soothe and moisturize the skin
- Sulfate-Free Cleanser: a naturally derived, sulfate-free cleansing agent designed to gently remove dirt, sweat, makeup and other impurities from the skin.

For best results: Treat your whole face twice a day, morning and night. Apply a small amount to dampened skin. Using your fingertips, gently massage in circular motions for 1 to 2 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Pat dry and follow with Step 2, Pore Targeting Treatment and Step 3, Complexion Perfecting Hydrator. If going outside, follow with sunscreen.
Proactiv+ Smoothing BHA Cleanser: For external use only. When using this product skin irritation and dryness is more likely to occur if you use another topical acne medication at the same time. If irritation occurs, only use one topical acne medication at a time. Stop use and ask a doctor if irritation becomes severe. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

Changed a good thing 😕
New formula alert! The old formula worked wonders for over a decade. I thought I was replenishing once I ran out but was tricked. This is a new formula and does nothing for my skin. The glow is no longer apparent. My skin does not feel smooth and acne returned immediately. Why change a good thing?

I did receive this product for free in exchange for a review! With that being said, this is one of my favorites. I have extremely sensitive skin and this did not cause any irritation and made my skin so smooth and cleared up some bumps I had under my skin. I am extremely picky with cleansers as I either don't notice a difference or it causes some breakouts. I will be buying this moving forward - absolutely amazing. Thank you!

This cleanser left my skin feeling clean, soft and smooth. It has tiny exfoliating beads which makes my skin look clear after using. It doesn't dry out my skin which I really like. And has seemed to help prevent new break outs. A little goes a long way too as it's very creamy.

This product is easy to use and it's effective for people who typically get acne. The one thing that I'm not a fan of is the smell but I do believe that other than that if you're looking for results this is good for you.
