The Kitsch Pro Dermaplaner Set gently exfoliates facial skin by removing dead skin cells and unwanted hair that can trap dirt and oil.
I'm a trained esthetician but am not working in a spa. I bought these so I could remove my peach fuzz and dead skin. They work great. You have to hold skin tight and do short sweeping motions at a 45 degree angle. I pull my skin tight at my cheekbone and move down from there at an angle towards my nose to do my cheeks. On my forehead I pull my skin tight at my hairline. On my chin I pull it tight from the sides. If you don't hold the skin tight you're not going to get results. I had a good amount of dead skin left on the razor. I do chemical peels once a month and use products with glycolic acid so those get rid of dead skin too. I don't have a trace of blonde peach fuzz on my face. These should only be used once a month. In the mean time to get rid of the peach fuzz I use the little razors meant for eyebrows and do my cheeks, chin and forehead with those. These are really good. I don't understand the poor ratings. If you aren't getting results it's likely you aren't using them correctly.
I used four of the blades and they worked perfectly. But now I have learned my lesson. Yes. Dermaplaning takes, skill, practice, and care to learn how to correctly do, but now I know the NUMBER ONE thing you should do, when opening a new razor is to INSPECT THE BLADE. WITH EVERY NEW RAZOR. This was the fifth one I pulled out of the pack, and I used it without carefully examining the blade. But I don't think that should be up to the end consumer. That is what quality control is for. I scratched my face, and thought it was my fault, but then when I nicked my forehead (which is going to leave a mark) I looked at the blade, and this is what I found. My face didn't do this to the blade. I don't have the facial hair or skin to do this to a blade. I use them mainly for removing any dry, flaky skin. I am truly disappointed here. Kitsch usually makes very well made products. And like I said this was the fifth one I pulled out of the pack. All of the rest were fine, but now I know to inspect every blade before using. For any brand. Disappointed.

I gave a middling review of these before and showed the blade that scratched me and showed the defective blade but gave them the benefit of the doubt. Two blades later, and I did inspect this one, it still left a SLICE in my skin. I have been microblading my face for a couple of years now and even the cheap Schick or AOA blades have never done this to my skin. I am throwing the rest of these away and will not be buying them again. this is literal damage to my face and after all the work I have done to clear it from scarring and it was getting extremely well, now this. I am angry, disappointed and literally hurt. I DO NOT recommend these.

It would be helpful if they provided directions/how to use. Considering it's a blade for your face. It doesn't even state how many uses before tossing it.

Cuts all over. Dont buy.

These do what they say. I've had trouble with other brands not being sharp enough and irritating my skin. Luckily no issues with these ones. If you shave your face and have sensitive skin I recommend you try these.

Blades dull very fast after 1-2 uses and gave me some knicks and cuts if I tried to use more than 1-2 times. Competitor brands I've experienced have a longer life.
