- Hold the Tool Correctly: Hold the dermaplaner at a 45-degree angle to your skin. Grip the handle securely but lightly to maintain control. 2. Work in Small Sections: Start at the top of your cheekbone or jawline. Gently pull the skin taut with your opposite hand to ensure a smooth surface. 3. Use Short, Feather-Like Strokes: Glide the blade in the direction of hair growth (typically downward) to prevent irritation and ingrown hairs. Avoid pressing hard; a light touch is enough to exfoliate and remove hair. 4. Areas to Focus On: Cheeks: Move downward from cheekbones. Forehead: Glide from the center outward. Jawline and Chin: Follow the natural contours of your face. Upper Lip: Use extra care due to sensitivity. 5. Avoid Certain Areas: Eyelids and under-eye areas (skin here is delicate). Areas with active acne, open wounds, or irritation.

Derma planners
They are OK but not wonderful. I find the blades to be too rough and scratchy why I understand it's supposed to determine plane as well as get rid of light hair growth. It's some too harsh for my skin and I'm not pressing hard.

DIY "Dermaplaning"
This tool is great for removing peach fuzz. I love how my skin looks after. Please be careful when using these and remember not to reuse as they harbor bacteria.
Hair removal tool
I really like these tools. Sharp enough to get the job done, and safe enough to use quickly. I bought two packages, Pink for me, and black for the daughter. Mine are mine. hahaha
