How To Use

  1. Hold the Tool Correctly: Hold the dermaplaner at a 45-degree angle to your skin. Grip the handle securely but lightly to maintain control. 2. Work in Small Sections: Start at the top of your cheekbone or jawline. Gently pull the skin taut with your opposite hand to ensure a smooth surface. 3. Use Short, Feather-Like Strokes: Glide the blade in the direction of hair growth (typically downward) to prevent irritation and ingrown hairs. Avoid pressing hard; a light touch is enough to exfoliate and remove hair. 4. Areas to Focus On: Cheeks: Move downward from cheekbones. Forehead: Glide from the center outward. Jawline and Chin: Follow the natural contours of your face. Upper Lip: Use extra care due to sensitivity. 5. Avoid Certain Areas: Eyelids and under-eye areas (skin here is delicate). Areas with active acne, open wounds, or irritation.

Can they be recycled after they've been used?
Asked by Michelle
Official Answer By KITSCH - Brand Engage
The handles are made from recycled plastic, but the full dermaplaners shouldn’t be put in household recycling once used because of the metal blades. Was this answer helpful to you

How often should i use the dermplaner?
Asked by Steph
Official Answer By KITSCH - Brand Engage
We recommend using the Pro Dermaplaning Tool every 3–4 weeks to safely remove dead skin and peach fuzz while allowing your skin time to renew. Avoid using it on active breakouts or irritated skin, and always start with a clean, dry face. Was this answer helpful to you

Love these

I'm a trained esthetician but am not working in a spa. I bought these so I could remove my peach fuzz and dead skin. They work great. You have to hold skin tight and do short sweeping motions at a 45 degree angle. I pull my skin tight at my cheekbone and move down from there at an angle towards my n...

The truth.

I used four of the blades and they worked perfectly. But now I have learned my lesson. Yes. Dermaplaning takes, skill, practice, and care to learn how to correctly do, but now I know the NUMBER ONE thing you should do, when opening a new razor is to INSPECT THE BLADE. WITH EVERY NEW RAZOR. I was scared of cutting myself, but the guard on these is really well-designed. It's almost impossible to nick yourself if you follow the 45-degree angle

The blades stay sharp for about 2-3 uses before I swap for a new one. With 12 in a pack, that's a massive amount of value. Feels like a pro grade tool. 🥰
