It's too early to tell if the minoxidil treatment works. Although the shampoo and conditioner work great, the minoxidil makes my hair dull and gives it a different feel. Does this product contain a DHT blocker?

I have loss of hair growth due to scalp picking which caused lots of damage/injury to my scalp. The hair in this area barely grows now, will this product be effective for this type of hair loss? I see that it says it's best for people who have hair loss due to hormones or stress so I don't want to get it if it won't work for hair loss due to scalp damage.

Ive read this is very toxic and even deadly for cats. I will be safely storing away the capped bottle and I dont plan on my cat licking my scalp but what other precautions should i take?
