I've used a pair of flat irons from this brand before and my naturally curly hair felt like SILK! I forgot which exact ones that I used so I took a chance and got this model. The reviews were great but also the price. I was so excited to use them when I got home. My hair was so silky straight by the time I got done, it was amazing. It thunderstrormed and was about 95 degrees that day here in Baltimore, and I was outside for most of the day and not once did my hair frizz up. I was beyond impressed and very happy with my purchase. It's worth every cent.
I've had 2 of these now. The first one I exchanged because it started turning off while doing my hair. Thought at first I was hitting the button so I changed how I held it to prevent that and it was still turning off. Sometimes you get a dud, so I exchanged for the same thing and now I'm running into the same problem as the first one. It's very annoying to have to turn it back on 15 times just to straighten my hair.

I love baby bliss straighteners so I thought this one would be great also. I needed a new straightener and was being cheap when I selected this one. This straightener definitely proved you get what you pay for. The ceramic plates ripped my fine hair out and did not distribute heat evenly. I had to turn up heat setting just to make it work and it burned my hair. Don't be cheap and but the titanium pro. This is junk.

*I have fine hair (but a lot) and wavy hair*
I only give it 4 because I've used much better straighteners. BUT, that being said… this one is great! I like that you can change the temperature. I personally liked it and think it's a great straightener!

This straightener is a 2/10 at most. The ceramic plates pull on your hair and leave harsh marks when trying to glide the straightener down your hair. Does it straighten your hair? Sure. Does it give your hair shine, have less damage and still allow for healthy movement in your hair? No, it does not. You get what you pay for. The T3 Licea ID and GHD Gold straighteners will give you sleek, healthy appearing hair with movement and body.

Best way to see if a flat iron is good or not is to clamp the plates together. If part of the plates touch but other sections are open you will have to put more effort into flat ironing your hair, thus causing more damage from more passes over the hair.
The plates touch towards the top but not uniformly towards the bottom. Will be returning

Love the sleek design, it does what it's supposed to! Love it.

The plates have a huge gap between them when you close the flat iron. It's ridiculous. Also it doesn't even have an indicator as to when it's fully heated up and ready to use. Don't waste your money on this, it's literally junk

I love it! It works best in my hair (medium thickness, a lot of hair and corse).
Patricia from Ohio
This flat iron feels very cheap to me. The plates are not fully parallel and do not touch each other on some parts of the straightener. It also pulls and snags my hair more than any straightener I've ever owned, honestly. I have very wavy/curly, fine hair but a lot of it. I tried this but couldn't even stand it for a full hair style. I gave up and will be returning. The snagging is just too much.

I purchased this straightener in 2011 and it still works the exact same! Best hair tool purchase I've ever made. Wanted to leave a review because I purchased one for my friend.

I purchased this flat iron from Ulta beauty in Springfield Pa since I was looking for a small 1" flat iron and this one has good reviews. it works great as far as straightening and curling my thick African American textured hair. After my third time using it I noticed the paint peeling on the side of the plates. I have a Chi flat iron that I've been using for years and it's never peeled, maybe I'll return this one and get a Chi in the 1" size. Not sure if I'd recommend this iron, I certainly won't buy this brand again.

my hairstylist swears by this straightener so I had to purchase it. she uses it on my hair and her clients. I've owned this straightner for 5 years and it still works.
having the black plates doesn't damage your ends as much. My hair is very thick and curly for reference. You won't go wrong with this one!

I use this iron to straighten my hair. Works great.

Do not recommend this straightener to anyone who has THICK wavy hair. I own a CROC, but misplaced it, so I thought I would buy a cheap one to get by.... No matter how small the section you still have to make 3-4 passes on the section. Also made my hair extra frizzy. It does not indicate when the straightener has reached the heat setting.

seriously better than hot tools, chi, Revlon, every straightener ever. my thick, curly, coarse hair loves it. I dont find it overly damaging as long as I prime my hair first

Has this iron for 6 years still working. Thinking of getting a new one since now I have to click the button a few times so it can turn on. But I still love it💕
NJM from Grand Rapids MI
I would have given it 5 stars but there is no indicator as to when the iron is up to the chosen heat setting. There is just an on/off light.
Also the handle gets pretty warm. My last one was a Chi and the handle stayed cool.
The iron works well for my needs and doesn't pull my hair at all.

Straightening naturally curly hair. Used it 3 times then it quit working. Waste of money.

This flat iron keeps turning off while I'm in the middle of doing my hair. At first I thought I unplugged it or hit the button but then it kept doing it. So what is wrong with my flat iron

I've owned the Babyliss Pro Nano Titanium Ionic straightener and love it. I was traveling and forgot mine, figured I'd purchase this one as it was a little cheaper, and was expecting at least good results from the brand. Even at the highest temps it took several passes to even moderately straighten my hair, and it just seemed to dry it out.
AP from AR
I have very fine, thin hair. I purchased this at the recommendation of my hairdresser. I do like how light it is in my hands and that it does not feel like it damages my hair. I do feel like to achieve the most straightening affect I have to use the hotter temps. It is small but since I don't have much hair it works for me. I plan to try it for curling too but haven't done that yet. Overall, I am happy with it for the purpose I purchased it for.

this was recommended by an employee as i was taking this to school and usually only straighten my hair so i needed a good one. I used it to tame my curly/ wavy hair and it took maybe 5 minutes when with my usual straightener it takes 15-20! I RECOMMEND
Ally from WI
Ordered this 8 months ago and it already doesn't work... it turns on but only heats up to a fraction of what I set it at. I've also found that, when it did work, it made my hair pretty frizzy. Super bummed. Spend your money on a different straightener.
Taylor from Alabama
Got this as a Christmas gift, 6 months later it does not even heat at all. It will make your hair frizzy too. Would not recommend this straightener to anyone!!!
