Waxy and Sticky

It comes in a very cute pink box, great for a stocking stuffer for a little girl. The actual container it's in is even cuter. It is in the shape of a star and you twist to open. It's white with pink and black doodles of hearts and stars with a small hello kitty on the front. There is a small eye...hole at the top so that you could hang it on a necklace. Very adorable for a little girl to wear to school. Not much scent when opened. The lip butter is a translucent cotton candy pink in a flat tray within. It was hard to get any on my finger in a 75 degree house. It's very hard and I had to swirl my finger around 3 times to get enough on my lips to feel covered properly. I could smell sweetness, but I couldn't identify it as apple. I asked a few friends to smell it and tell me the scent, no one could guess anything except that it smelled like candy. It has a very waxy consistency in the container, but is sticky once it is warmed up on the lips. It seems to last quite a long time before needing to be reapplied, but it isn't a pleasant sensation as I prefer a creamy or slippery sensation on my lips. There is no flavor to the lip butter, which is likely good for a small child, so that they wont keep licking it off. If you put your tongue on it, it's completely tasteless, like licking a candle. Definitely not something I would use, but not the worst either. The cuteness factor is there, but this seems more like an item for a child. I like that it includes Squaline, but the list of chemicals in it is WAY too long. I don't want that many chemicals on my mouth, and I certainly wouldn't want it in my child's mouth. Simpler or more natural ingredients would be a huge improvement.
