UNbrush Plus Detangling Hair Brush

I have thin and fine type 4 (coily) hair and a sensitive scalp. Since this brush is labeled suitable for fine and thin hair, I chose it over the original UNbrush. This brush gets caught in my tangles instead of actually detangling my hair, even if I use it on a small section. In order to get this brush to work on my hair, I have to detangle with a wide tooth comb first, which defeats the purpose of owning the brush. If you have straight or wavy hair that is fine & thin, this brush will probably work for you. If you have curly or coily hair, you're better off choosing another tool.

I put my expectations too high for this brush. I recently broke my original unbrush because of my thick, 3c/4a hair. I was going to order another one because it detangles so well, it's worth the money and all the hype. But I saw this unbrush+ and thought it was worth a try since the original performs so well! When I went to detangle my hair in the shower, I was severely disappointed. The unbrush+ kept getting caught in my tangles, and when I could get through them, it only detangled the outer layer of my hair. The bristles are too flimsy, this brush AT MOST was just petting my tangles. It took me about 30 minutes detangle my whole head when I normally take a maximum of 10 minutes. I will say the unbrush+ handle doesn't slip away from you when it's wet, the physical design is appealing to the eye, and I was amazed at how fast my shed hair came out when I was cleaning it. The amount of hair loss was about the same as the original, didn't rip out my hair unnecessarily. I think this brush might work better for people with sensitive scalp, thinner hair, and looser textures. But if don't have those hair features, I HIGHLY recommend the original unbrush!!

I was intrigued by this brush, but honestly, it's nothing special. It doesn't get through tangled any differently than any other brush and it's a bit scratchy in the scalp. The colors are pretty but hair doesn't stick in the brush, which is both good and bad. More hair ends up on my floor than in the brush which I don't love, but it'll probably mean cleaning it will be easier.

This works great on fine hair that tangles easily.

OMG! Took less than a minute to brush my hair when I got out of the shower. It normally takes way longer because my hair is super fine. Love this brush! Highly recommend!
