I have always had a lot of thick hair with lots of texture and body...or, at least, I *used* to have that kind of hair. Since celiac disease surprised me with early menopause, I have struggled with hair shedding and thinning, and I've been looking for products to help me get back some of that old va-va-voom! And I may just have found it in Not Your Mother's Plump For Joy Thickening Hair Lifter. This stuff smells so good! It has a wonderful citrusy scent that lifts my mood as well as my hair. This product can be applied to wet or dry hair, but I usually use it on freshly washed towel-dried hair. I just spray a few squirts into my hand, rub my hands together a little, then apply it to the roots of my hair. I kind of scrunch it up a little and finger comb it out to the middle of my hair, then toss my hair upside down a time or two. I often let it air dry after this, but sometimes I blow dry, and this stuff feels fine either way. In fact, it's actually a heat protectant, too, which is so convenient. And it really does give my hair a noticeable lift. Nothing crazy; it isn't a styling product, exactly, but a volumizer, and it gives me enough extra volume that I can see the difference. My hair has a little more body and movement, which is exactly what I want. Best of all, it's gluten-free and completely cruelty-free! Hard to believe such an affordable product could do so much, but it does. It's well worth a try if you struggle with flat, thinning hair. Happily recommended!

It was ok. Good size bottle for money. Packaging was fine and decent smell but it had a hairspray texture feel and didn't make huge difference. Not huge difference.
